I think there's almost some genetic instinct for humans to be violent against intellectuals. I have seen kids ( boys and girls ) as young as ten that have reading and writing difficulties want to smash the smarter kids. They call them losers. Even though they are the ones who will most probably be the loser later in life. They have envious and violent reactions any time common sense is pointed out. Their learning difficulties become compounded as now they view learning as ''uncool'' and they begin to refuse to learn and sabotage any effort to help. It becomes a self fulfilling prophecy, they embrace being dumb and believe it to be a higher social status than smart.

What I’ve come to realize from watching these shows is the art world is really a world of self preservation and the almighty dollar. I’m not surprised but I’m always suspicious/disappointed when everything points to a work of art being authentic but the experts either won’t acknowledge it or completely dismiss it.

This is not art. Im sorry. Not work, either. Its honesyly an insult to actual artists. "Vibration?" This lady is literally insane. That's a genuine delusion. I once met a wierdo that said they could see vibrations as heat coming off of their drums.... yall dont need attention- yall need help.

Denison Texas what a town of backwards locals. I saw these treasures in stores there, but I had no idea what they were. I just thought they were wonderful pieces. The problem with Texas is it's full of Texans.

I saw a quote from Four Quartets recently and that somehow led me here. I remember reading some TS Elliot as a teenager and young adult...yet I am not sure that I truly understood the brilliance. The ability to read lines out of order and somehow it still makes sense is very appealling to the hobbyist computer programmer side of myself. There is a concept that code really only makes sense if you read it twice. First forwards and then backwards. Elliot's use of stanzas(ie:blocks of code) and the polyrhythms of language(ie: Time + Meaning)...seems special. He saw something that many people do not, and he was privileged and skilled enough to convey that perception in a way that transcends the sands of time.

As a mural artist I am in awe of the Tiepolo ceiling! It's difficult enough with drivable lifts and manufactured paints! To have to relocate scaffolding and make paint also is mind blowing. It only took him a year?!!! Working above his head?!!!

I desperately missed the great jewelry at the coronation of King Charles. I really did not understand seeing Princess Catherine in the headpiece she wore. She was beautiful, but the effect was honestly less splendid and felt less significant. To me, the most wonderful thing of the coronation was the tolling of the bells! I was extremely disappointed in the way that Harry acted. I’d never thought of him as a party pooper before. Thanks for showing all this gorgeous jewelry! Very uplifting! Very beautiful! ❤️❤️❤️

Pissarro was sweating art like no other it seems. Monet often gives me the impression that because of financial struggle he was really into the business of things, producing a lot of paintings for that reason, and more often than not an idea that he rushed his paintings but Pissarro clearly painted with his heart his whole life. Every painting he made bares the mark of his patience and the love he had for the people and life as a whole instead of focusing on a particular element, and I think that’s why people love Pissarro almost unconditionally, as he showed he love painting unconditionally too and that he wanted to give it all to the world, by including everything. A wonderful mind and a beautiful heart that Mr Pissarro. I still prefer the works of Monet, particularly of the extremely colourful landscapes he made or his famous water lilies but for sure Pissarro was the master of the cityscape, perhaps the hardest thing to do with the impressionist style.

The natural wonder of his way with words due to classical education "He woke at midday, the clocks of Florence chiming along. And in at that very moment, through that door came a donkey bearing panniers of fruit; peaches and grapes. And the languid hand of John Gastonia would reach out of his best, still half asleep, and pluck a peach from the basket. And, juice dribbling down his chin, make breakfast of it." Me, what did you have for breakfast? "Weetabix innit."
