I originally started this KZread channel to document my breast cancer journey but now I'm cancer free and ready to get back to living my best life! I started cancer treatment in March 2023 while living in Japan for the second time, then moved back to Australia in June 2023 for the rest of my treatment. In July 2024, I'll finish cancer treatment and I am super excited to move to the Middle East!

Oh no, sorry this was in mid April. With my immunotherapy treatments, I have only just got around to making the video now. Sorry about that! In April it was that cold.

I understand why there are paid toilets but I feel like if you buy something somewhere, it should be free?! 😭 I didn’t get to! You have to pay to go potty? Wow that’s crazy. With my stomach issues I would end up not being able to go out if it was like that here.
Yeah I wonder if there’s vandalism in non-manned public toilets or people just want to make money. But yes, you have to pay to use public toilets in Europe!

Hey ! Your comment about station Bruxelles midi is totally valid, locals often say that this station is the worst in Brussels hahaha However it’s not the central station, the central station is near the Mont des arts. Central station and around rue neuve are in my opinion, more likable area for a hotels and safer, if I can say. Btw I’m sure that if you have talk in German, they’ll probably look at you in a weird way ahahah

I'd say to some aspects ahhaa. Oh no, OMG. I misspoke but when I said that, I wasn't referring to your appearance but more to the political/geographical aspect of the country. German in Brussels, they probably wouldn't have understood or would have confused it with Dutch. And even then, Dutch isn't often used by the people of Brussels. Sorry again for the misunderstanding.

Yes, unfortunately it has to go in your stomach fat. It only hurts a little and what I found was, it was less about the pain and more about having to inject myself 😭😭😭

The buses are great nowadays in Paris if you don’t like the metro. The stops can be tricky to find but with the apps it’s much easier. It’s safer and you can look outside.

We are in a cold drop, the weather is exceptionally cold and rainy, I’m 50 and I have never seen that in Paris. Of course, it would be better to have a nicer weather but everywhere else in Europe, they’re just in a toaster.
Oh I agree, would much rather spring weather than hot and sweaty! I actually went end of April but I am really slow at editing because of my immunotherapy infusions, sorry for the confusion. I can’t wait to go back to Paris in winter! I think it’ll be so pretty!

Girl I had a biopsy before it is incredibly invasive but didn’t hurt until the numbness wore off but I did pass out afterwards when they were trying to get it to stop bleeding. I bled and wouldn’t stop they pressed so much that is what hurt not the needle even though I had phantom pain of the needle going in over and over at different times. You’re a very brave soul.
@@Dragons4life0323 oh no I’m so sorry you had to have the biopsy and that it was a horrible experience. That scars you for life, mentally and physically 😢😢😢 You’re so brave for having had to go through it too. I wouldn’t wish it upon anyone.

Hi Angela, thanks for your good thoughts. No it didn’t spread but due to my type of breast cancer I’d need to effectively suppress my ovaries for 10 years with a monthly injection that would lead to removal of my ovaries “after I’d had kids”. I wasn’t going to have kids so I opted to remove them.
Oh damn, can you request a different dr? My mom had to have a double mastectomy but her body rejected implants. Keep doing all your follow ups. My mom got too tired and sick of it and gave up and her cancer came back worse than ever. You’re such a brave woman to talk about your surgeries. And all you’ve been through. ❤❤❤ love you Bad B 🤗
Wow Serena I am so sorry that happened to your mum. That makes me so angry and sad. I feel so blessed that we connected and I love you too! I can’t choose my doctor because I’m in the public health system so it’s just whoever is available. Usually a young registrar for a check up like this and it’s a different doctor every time. Tbh at least it was just a check up and not a surgery but I hope this doctor learns from our interaction, rather than acting like her patient is an idiot like she did w me…
