    The MOST effective and safe remedy is lithium orotate,readily available from health stores,so no patent/profit available for Big pharma so they give you the toxic form of lithium 🤦‍♂️

    Yes, it can do that for some patients. One of the potential side effects is irritability.

    Hello, I am 74 years old. I have been on Paxil for over 30 years, 30 mg. I suffer from depression, panic disorder, long term PTSD, with a touch of bi-polar thrown in. Over the last couple of years I have developed a heart condition, LBBB, and I have 1 stent. Last fall I started having serious angina with my heart beat being around 90 bpm. My cardiologist has put me on a beta blocker, Nebiviolol. This has mostly relieved my angina with my heart beat now around 70 bpm. I have slowly stared to stop using Paxil, with a hope to switching to Psilocybin. I live in Portugal where all drugs have been decriminalized. What danger do you think I’m in while trying to get off Paxil and using my beta blocker? Thank you.

    Coming off venlafaxine, was on 112.5 for a year (but 75 for 15 years before that!) and I believe the meds are causing more panic attacks. Starting was rough, went too fast at first before researching. Now I’m dropping by 12.5mg every 4-5 weeks. Once I get to 37.5 it’s off to the compounding pharmacy!

    Oh I also have bupropion now to help the taper. I was on that during Covid and it helped then. Seems to be helping now. I also have clonazepam for when/if I get those vicious panic attacks in withdrawal. This is not for the faint of heart!

    My doctor prescribed me this and refused to give me anything else unless I tried this. But I don't want to bc it slows down yr heart rate and affects the blood vessels. I want something that will relax my nervous system like benzos or alcohol does

    @@LevelheadedMind thank u, Coz honestly I ve been prescribed this as an antidepressant to use by my doctor and I m afraid to start using it. I m from Egypt and Stablon is sold in all our Pharmacies as antidepressant. But I heard some good and bad things about it which makes me a bit hesitant to start it. I also have ADD maybe that’s why the doctor prescribed because he told me that it should manifest depression, And anxiety and should help with my focus and concentration which in turn will help with my ADD. Many regards and hope u ll really do a supportive video abt it. Thanks for ur support and keep shining ❤️💫

    Thank you for your mental health channel. I know you have helped many with your expertise. I have been on Effexor/Venlafaxine for over 30 years. I recently read that long-term use of these medications can possibly cause dementia/Alzheimer's according to some research. Therefore, I spoke with my doctor to begin tapering my antidepressant. I started this week from 150 mg to now 75 mg. I will be on this dosage for three months. Thank you for sharing the cross-taper. Hopefully, my doctor is familiar with this technique, and I can quit this medication without too much disturbing side effects.

    If you have chronic pain and even mild hypertension I highly recommend this medication. I was having multiple panic attacks a week in response to chronic pain. Before I was in pain I never had difficulties with stress or anxiety. Chronic pain changes the hormones in your body and in my case it was because of chronic exposure to high levels of noradrenaline. It has been an absolute game changer for me.

  • @pwesiti
    @pwesiti3 күн бұрын

    And yes, it reduced the amount of pain I’m in. Noradrenaline can increase your perception of pain.

    Tardive dyskinesia aka The Risperidone Waltz - constant snake-like tongue movements, circular movements with hands, rocking, treading grapes. Frozen face, constant dribbling. And still Doctor God prescribes. The last time I saw the close friend thus described, he had his head in his hands and said, "I'm over-medicated." A genius cognitively destroyed and physically broken. He died in despair far too young.

    I think it's such a shame that people called it "the happy pill." because it never made me happy. It just made me functional. It spared me my entire life. I was on it such a short time. But that small time was like kickstarting a dead battery. I honestly felt literally nothing. All I knew is I could move my limbs again. It really doesn't do anything but put you at neutral. Which is less than normal. But is is absolutely enough. You can work your way up from a solid neutral with just a push from a friend, or some willpower. But you can never work your way up from a fully dead battery. the only unusual thing that happened while I was on it was I started in on my usual doom-and-gloom thoughts, and then realized... I don't have to think this way if I don't want to. I never thought happy thoughts. But I stopped thinking the ridiculous ones. Holla Prozac you the MVP.

    Great info. I have experienced this. I was on a combo of Effexor and Citalopram for quite awhile. I think it contributed to low mood and possibly too much serotonin. Therapist took me off the Citalopram and added Wellbutrin. It has definitely increased my mood, energy levels, sleep and overall well being. It does cause some anxiety however. Keep up the good work!!
