Looking great! Happy 2-year Anniversary.
Thank you so much 🙏🏾🥰💕
You have to add a booster bleach
What kind and how do you use it?
I’m 3 months too!! Good luck on your journey ❤
Thank you very much 🤎 you too 🥰
I searched and searched until i came across your account, now im currently installing my own starter locs while watching this video & I'm so grateful 😊. Thank you for posting!
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉 I appreciate that so much 🥰 keep me posted and if you have any questions let me know 🤎
One thing I have noticed when watching a lot of these tutorial videos on KZread about dyeing hair is you have to account for your natural hair color when beaching and dying your hair. Most time the mixing colors of the color on the box and your hair color create a different color so be mindful when selecting a color. Best to watch others and see who has the color closet to what you want and use the color they used if you have similar colored hair to what they started at. Also I noticed their color is a hue lighter when they first wash out the beach or dye. Once it drys off the final color is usually a bit darker so don’t freak out until you dry your hair. Hope this helps someone.
Very helpful information! Much appreciated 🙏🏾 for me personally I 100% took this info into consideration! I watched loads of other videos on dark hair and lighter brown hair before choosing the box color. On the box it advertised that you can achieve that shade with dark hair like mine as I show in the video. I've seen many videos where the color wasn't achieved and still wanted to try on myself. I added the aluminum thinking it would lighten better and it still was the maximum color results lol 😅. That particular box isn't made for super dark brown hair even though it claims to be. It works better if your hair is a medium to light brown. Super helpful of you. Thank you! 🙏🏾🤎
Motivation right here 💕my loc is just as thin as yours was.
I appreciate that ☺️ 🙏🏾. This next video I'm working on you'll see the shock in my face with how different they turned out now! I'm so grateful and happy I started 🙏🏾 so if yours started on the thin side like me I'm here to tell you it's possible for them to fluff out 🙌🏾✨
You are a beautiful young lady!!! Thank you for sharing this!! Take care!🌹🙏🏽🔥
Thank you so much, you are gorgeous as well! And you're welcome 🤗. You take care too ❤️
Thank you!!🙏🏽 ❤🎉🌹
Most accurate video dor this color & product. Thank you. My hair turned out the same exact color as yours
Thank you! Also, You're welcome lol 🤗
beautiful sis
Thank you so much 🙏🏾💕
Finally someone with the same hair type as me! Thanks for a video helped alot!
I really appreciate that 😊 thank you 🤎
❤
🤎🤎🤎
Thank you! Your method makes this easier for non hair styling people like myself. Why the aluminum foil? Thanks for the education on when to dye. I'm restarting my journey on 4/11/24' my hair type is the same as yours' very fine though. I'm now in Q3 and want to simplify all things hair. Blessings!
Thank you so much! The aluminum foil was a theory lol. Since people who bleach use it to accelerate the process I figured it would do the same lol. (It didn't work) But it did help prevent the color from lightening my roots or touching areas I didn't want to lightening! So one fail was another success lol. Let me know how your journey goes 😊🙏🏾✨. Blessings to you too 🩷
New subie
Welcome welcome, I appreciate you being here 🩷🙏🏾✨
To be honest I loved both looks you can rock either one but it’s what you like of course but you simply beautiful ❤ new subscriber
really!?? thank you so much 🫶🏾 and welcome 🤗✨
How did you get your locs thicker
WATER 💧 WATER 🚿 WATER 🌊 ☺️ I shampoo and wash my hair once every 2 weeks and mist with my tonic spray in between ☺️
Yaaay! You started it yourself! Thats how you know it’s going to go well
You're so right because once I finished, I truly blossomed within myself love🥰 🌸
Oh your hair was long when you started. I thought it was super short at first but it had length even back on day one. Very pretty!
The shrinkage was on some foolery because it shrunk like 60% 🤣 so thank you so much 💓
The voice over wasnt bad at all very informative vid
Thank you so much I felt so awkward 😅
Thanks for sharing 🫶🏾
Of course ❤️☺️
So powerfully beautiful ! Thanks for sharing your journey! My nape looks just like yours 🥹 I’m 6 months in! I see quite a bit of scalp in my retwists, and it was alarming, especially since I don’t twist tight. But your journey and this information made me realize that nothings wrong, and my hair is healthy ❤
Thank you so much for your kind words 🙏🏾 congratulations on 6 months 😊✨️ we got this 💁🏾♀️🌱🌻
Looking at your locs now you would never have known that you have alopecia and it's thin. Man, I'm definitely using your regimen ASAP. It looks so healthy and full. Blessings to you ❤
I appreciate your kind words so much! Thank you. When I started this journey, I had no idea it would look the way it has today either! It was a surprise to me too lol 😆
Do u have 2 strand twist and coil method together?. I’m thinking about getting starter locs on my fin thin hair.. and was wanting to knw which is best comb coils or two strand twist .. which will give me the most volume.. on my short natural thin /fine hair.. if u or anyone else can give me some ideas.. I have an appointment in the 23rd of Dec for my starter locs.. HELP😊
In my opinion coils fluff very nice! But they unravel the most. I liked 2 strand because it was a good balance between fluff and maintaining them from unraveling. Since I have alopecia, I have to do some extra maintenance that I'm going to share in a new video around Christmas time! Since my previous video deleted, I have to make time for another one, and I think this will really show the true nature of thin fine hair and also what affects alopecia have on my locs personally. Congratulations in advance to start your locs I hope they bring you so much joy 😊
@@Spirituallylocdin thank u
Anytime 😊
Oh, they turned out great! you've given me hope❤. I was twisting my hair and I'll only have 50 locs and they not that thick. Can i ask how many locs do you have?
Thank you very much and I'm so happy to hear 🥹🫶🏾 I have 86 locs total ☺️
Absolutely gorgeous ❤
I appreciate that so much 💕 thank you ☺️🙏🏾✨
Nice growth
Thank you so much I appreciate that. I came so far I can't believe it 🙏🏾😭✨ I'm grateful!

We have the same type of hair! Do you ever feel like your hair looks flat? Im dealing with that at the moment
Oh hello! That's awesome ☺️ honestly no, I never feel like my hair is flat UNLESS I do a fresh Retwist lol! I also wash my hair often so frizz keeps it soft and fluffy ☁️
@@Spirituallylocdin same the fresh retwist and it could be that I'm only 3 months in! Yours look really good tho
Thank you so much ☺️ my hair did lay more flat my 1st few months. I have all progress photos on my Instagram lol
I feel like mine looks flat and also the top feels fuller than the bottom - not sure if I’m alone on that but I have more micro locs
@@Spirituallylocdin what's your insta?
Do you palm roll? Nice locs
I appreciate your kind words thank you 🙏🏾✨😊! I do not palm roll, I twirl my roots with aloe vera gel after I wash my hair ☺️🪴
I absolutely love it!!! I’m going to dye my hair myself this week maybe an auburn colour and I’m nervous but seeing you do it makes me feel like I can handle it 😊
Thank you! ☺️ and yes! You definitely can do it! Let me know how it comes out! 😁
Yesss❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🔥🔥🔥
🥳🎉🫶🏾✨
Your locks are getting thicker. Nice!! How frequently do you retwist or retie?
Thank you I'm truly surprised by the thickness! I retie every 6-7 weeks ☺️
Beautiful❤
Thank you so much 😊❤️
😍♥️💜
🤗💞🥰
"There is no ugly phase." Amen! 🙂
👋🏾 new subbie here! I don't have alopecia but I do have Seborrheic Dermatitis. I had to cut 4 of my locs off behind my left ear so that I can tend to my scalp as needed. It comes and goes over the last 10 years. I think it's time for me to see the Dermatologist again because my home remidies aren't working anymore
Thank you for joining the fam 🥰 I'm sorry you have to experience that. I believe seeing a specialist will definitely help you! I use rogaine to maintain my edges. Natural remedies didn't keep the hair there. My alopecia comes and goes as well. We can only do our best 😊 I wish the best for you in getting better treatment for Seborrheic Dermatitis 🙏🏾✨
Thank you for this video. I have alopecia as well; not a severe case though as I was diagnosed early. But I’m about to loc my hair as well. I think the low manipulation and lower maintenance just allows your hair and scalp to rest. Your hair looks great BTW
Yes! We can still enjoy locs ☺️ less is more for us especially with alopecia. And since starting this journey it's proven to be so beneficial to my hair and overall daily life 🙏🏾✨ congratulations in advance for starting your locs! I hope it brings you as much joy and ease as it did for me 🥰
Just subscribed ❤️😊 I just started my journey 4 days in 🥹 my hair is thin…and this video is so much motivation for me I hope I can continue this
I appreciate that so much! Give yourself grace. If it's for you at this moment it'll flow ✨ and if you decide not to then that's ok! Hair is so versatile ☺️ reach out if you need any help 🫶🏾
@@Spirituallylocdin thanks you so much 🫶🏼
❤🎉😊 beautiful!
Thank you so much ❤️🫶🏾✨
The end product was beautiful but I also liked the first color too. Both looked good on you ❤
Aw, I appreciate that! Thank you so much 😊🫶🏾✨
Looks really good. Great choice.
Thank you so much! I agree 🥰
Hi, nice video. Yes the hair you dye last takes time to get colored Last. I figure the thicker your locs the longer it will take. I love the brightness
Thank you 😊
