  Same buyer and giver. I had to get a couple summer tops for myself on sale. I love giving the perfect gift. I try to find the best for that exact person. I also buy stuff if it's nice. But right now I am a penny pincher as I got ill @ 25yrs ago. Got a mystery illness diagnosed in 2018. I was a nurse who was in love with my job . It was precious and an honor to me. I lost 25 yrs of my life. My bestie mom GOAT unexpectedly traumatically died in my arms. B my mom loved you 1st selling your baked goods and said she wanted help. Thank you for you heart. Live this. Is this system corrupt and broken? Yes, definitely.   Van Cleefs did the same to me. I buy a lot of luxury brands, I love the cleef design, but I felt like scum after they turned me away at the door in a snobby manner. It wasn’t that an appointment was required, it was that the sales associates acted like shareholders of the company, turning reg people away. People who work at these stores need to simmer down

  The only time someone did that to me before stepping in was a grumpy old man security guard. He let certain people in but me. The manager came out and got me, I was upset because he seen that the manager contacted me and we had text messages. Thankfully, the entire staff made up for it. I was dressed casual as usual, I don’t dress up to go shopping and running errands. It’s so weird to me when people are rude and disrespectful m, it screams insecure.

  It’s most likely certain stores aka certain employees. I had a casual yet farmer style fit and decided to purchase something BUT called beforehand for it to be held for me. When I arrived the personnel I spoken with had left and I was stuck with a rude boy, we looked close in age (young) and within 5 minutes I left and went over to a different boutique. That boutique did not treat me rude at all, the ladies were respectful and kind (older). I made more than 1 purchase and called to disclose what occurred at other boutique. That boutique was closed for months and apparently I was not alone. The boutique is now open again but I do not step foot in there. I dislike anyone that judges someone by appearance it speaks volumes about the individual and their lack of diversity, including not being well traveled. Especially those that assume “old money” looks a certain way lol - we all look different and know our family history but are quite similar in mannerisms despite our physical differences. Yes, there are some outliers here and there :)
