20:20 This looks delicious! I'm glad you can live in the country. I believe everyone can slow down their lives even when living in the city. It's just a matter of getting clear in our priorities, decluttering our space and calendar, and ultimately enjoying what is really important. Thanks for the beautiful video.

Even if you didn’t work in Germany you are still in title of dose benefits depending of your joint income. With such a small baby, you must be on a Elternzeit, meaning you should have been becoming Kindergeld and Elterngeld.

I just realized that one of the things I enjoy about dining out in Germany is that you can actually hear the clinking sound of cutlery and plates and the murmur of conversation...something that connects one to the actual sound of life going on around you....When dining in the US, music drowns out so much that it's almost impossible to hear each other talk, much less the sounds of the community surrounding you. (Or maybe it's just that Americans are just so loud in general).

I'm loving the quiet way you are capturing life in Germany. I've been to Germany many times to visit family there (My mother is German) and it absolutely these scenes, the "little things", about Germany that make me love it so - especially when you are out for a "spazieren" in Nature or in a city. Walking around and just enjoying and observing the environment is something that is strangely difficult to do in the US - at least where I live. And kudos to being a student!! My mottos are: "better late than never" and "it's never to late to begin something new".
