Race 1 was not recorded. The series is in the process of seeking sponsors or greatly increasing entries to bring Livestream back at Sonoma. The video crew does a great job, so tell your racing friends to sign up for TC Round 2.

I ran 2 zips and laydown superkart a freond of mine made. That chassis looks judy great to me. If it's fast enough to scare the he'll out of you that's plenty fine! I went so fast with my TZ 250s I still can't believe it. I wad also good at converting Yamaha RD 250s into TZ spec engines. I liked the gear spacing on the RD based motors a bit better. Those RDs ate just about the greatest engines ever made!

Where can I find a used VORTEX ROK Shifter motor. I have a 1971-1972 artic snow cat mini bike with the sax motor. Iv seen just the engines seized without crab, exhaust, and and parts missing sell for 1k

Hi, I'm moving to Cali soon and understand this year they've banned all the engines under 25HP. How can the hobby continue there under these new regulations? Is it just that people have to buy used small engines, or make trips to pick them up over in NV or OR?

Mechanical means and then soapy water with an air hose. I may try an oil eater product in the future

Dr. Berry! It is funny how some of the most minute things can trigger such a big connection....and you connected the dots. I don't know many people so the dots are easier to connect, which is good because us italians aren't too bright!! Really good story.

If they are sliding off, make sure they are not cracked or damaged from over tightening. If they continue to slide off, you may need to replace. Send an email or text to our affiliate kart shop @extrakartparts

You'll have to contact a reputable Vortex dealer such as Swedetech for current pricing and options. I think at the time of this video, a complete engine package with all necessary accessories was 4200.00

Thanks for the great vid. BTW, I had my RD 400 bored and heads ported. Flatslides with pod filters and chambers. Now the motor won't pull higher rpms. What all would you change on the carbs?

I'd contact the shop that did the porting. Sometimes if you go big bore, you lose top rpms because your trading off for torque at the lower rpms.

If you want to hurt yourself and damage the parts, just crank it to 150 psi . Otherwise 15 psi did the trick
