I do 3 oil changes before 5k miles. 1st at 1k, then at 3k, the rest at 4k. Engine is smooth and quiet.(2021).
Does anyone have any recommendations on installing EKR seat covers on the driver seat (power seat). I can’t get the inner seat bungee cable(closest to center console) under the seat to stretch it out.
I should mention I have power seats so there’s a lot going on under the seat

I live in Alabama and it's really hot and humid here. I have an old classic 1955 Chrysler New Yorker with no A/C. I have almost stopped going to car shows in the summer. Yesterday the heat index here was 112 degrees. This would be a game changer for me. I'm considering it. I'll check out some more reviews first but thank you for this review.
I now have the redline 6k the DaVinci 1500 newton 1000 Columbo 250 nebo luxtreme and the new slyde king 4k and just ordered the 12k and 18k nebo lights they are awesome

@fords8433 That's true, but you seen all of the ferous metal that the magnets picked up. That's even less wear particles floating around your oil and taking up room in the filter. The more things you can do to prevent wear the better.
Thanks for sharing Matthew! I am wondering how it goes with the rear flaps? I see only 2 screws are used to install it. Is it sturdy? is sufficient for long term use? (I see some rear flaps which require drilling holes, I don't want to do that if it is not really needed.)

Those wires under passenger seats are weight sensors for auto climate control.

My passenger side last six months. Emailed them. Waiting for a response. The open weather pack connector is not a great design especially in the snow salt areas. I packed my connector full of dielectric grease. Good luck if you buy them

@kimberlycoto5007 mine is a 2024 model. They just haven't updated their website, but they will fit. The seats in the RAV4 from 2019-2024 are all the same. Make sure to use my discount code in my description. Hope this helps, have a great night.

Ive seen a lot of these videos where they cut the oil filter and look inside. but isnt that the job of the oil filter to begin with? so it doesn't circulate through the engine. changing the oil is cheap so why not but i haven't seen any videos after the 2nd oils change to see if there is anything in the filter.
@ryanmac7377 There are always going to be wear particles inside your engine, but they are substantially higher during those first 10,000 miles because everything is being broken in, and that's when most engine wear occurs. So I'm gonna change my oil a lot more in those first 10,000 miles and then every 5,000 miles after that. I will give more video updates on my findings because it's unbelievable just how much metal you will collect.

Gotta roll the Jack Vale pooter off the palm, vary the palm angle and you'll get a lot of different farts. Move the hole to to various places in the palm, don't try to flat squeeze it, angle it. I'm going to build your idea immediately, that's a great solution for more intense sounds lol

Glue failed on mine after maybe 6 to 10 mags. I tried to contact the company to ask which glue I should use to repair it. They have not responded in almost a month to my emails and phone calls (went to voice mail everytime). Product was great for the time it lasted, company is 100% unresponsive.
If they won't respond then start leaving them messages on social media. That should get their attention. There is no need for companies to act like that to customers.
Shouldn't you also do the break in oil change on the transmission? I'm sure there'll be lots of metal shavings there, as well.
Yes, I totally agree with changing the transmission fluid out earlier, then recommend by Toyota. Fluid is cheap compared to replacing the transmission.
I've been having gout for the past 12 years mostly in my big toes on my feet but now I recently got a gout attack in my hand and my problem is I cannot stop drinking alcohol I am addicted to it and I drink everyday and I'm working on trying to stop the doctors tell me I need to quit drinking alcohol I don't eat much red meat but now that I got it in my hand I guess I really need to slow down on the alcohol and cut it out of my life somehow I am so tired of suffering and hurting all the time because of it. The gout has gotten worse over the past three years since my mother died and that's about how long I've been drinking almost every day. I'm really sorry you have to go through all of that I know it hurts like hell I can completely relate
The gout will only get worse with time, my friend. Get it set in your mind that you can quit drinking, and believe in yourself, and you can stop drinking cold turkey. You definitely don't want to die slowly from gout and liver problems it will be a miserable journey. Stay positive, and you can do it! Have a great day!
