Thank you i was glued to my Chair watching you build that beautiful Gem Bravooo SaLuTe
My pleasure 😇
Very glad to see you back! Hope you're feeling well!
Thank you so much. Yes I am feeling better
So Nice 😍
Thank you

2 min before midnight isn't perfect 🤔
It is very close to be prefect
@@FrenchWatchCollector I'm just surprised you go through all that trouble meticulously taking apart the watch, then when it comes to the minute hand at midnight you accept good enough 🤷🏻 all Rolex watches have an instantaneous date change exactly at midnight.
@@shamrocky it cannot be exactly midnight. The tolerance for a brand new rolex is -1 minute +2 minutes for the date change. It is like be at +/- zero secondes per day it doesn't exist
Awesome watch. Great work
Thank you
Nice timepiece. Great restoration
👍
Englsih for the international Community : Does jumping the date backward damage the caliber 3185 ? Amazing job on this video by the way !
Really happy to see you back on your feet and doing what you love. Hope your health continues to improve my friend
Thank you so much. Your video kept me with my passion during this more difficult time. Feeling much better so I can go back to my bench and my passion. Thanks get for your support
Hey man, is there any way you could tell me what size crown that is? I bought one of these missing the crown. My first attempt at purchasing a crown was a fail and not the correct part. Looking to get this thing cleaned up and together as a gift.
you can use the omega crown 43053 or 43096. It should work
@FrenchWatchCollector Thank you sir. Very much appreciated!!!
I have a question related to re-plating a Cartier Vermeil Watch. Cartier refuses to do it and recommends it should not be done. But after a complete overhaul by Cartier mine still shows significant tarnishing. What’s your opinion?
Not sure if I understand. Dis Cartier did or did not do the re-plating? Should be not tarnishing after re-plating. Here is a cartier that I have done with re-plating kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZamIvLFmmKyZmsY.html
Great job on fixing the Enicar (Racier). I picked up a couple from eBay to work on later. Got to pick up some more watch tools first.
They are great watches. You will need a lot of tools 😅
Tweezers not in correct shape because by this tweezer you can't hold the spare parts , this tweezer need proper shape
Hi do you have a part number for the stem on this model k883 thankyou I am stifling to find a replacement for one myself
Merci Nikolas. J'adore les calibres de chez Longines
I can't even conceive of the kind of genius that created this.
So true
Glad to see you are back. We've missed your great videos.
Thank you so much
Ah! Good to see you back at the bench. Great work as ever. I was holding my breath when you removed the roller table, a little ball of rodico stops them pinging off into the fourth dimension
Thank you very much and thanks for the tip
Very nice!
Thank you
I love the history behind the vintage watches, pieces of beauty
Thank you
The screw down pushers make that an extra special cosmograph
Yes but there are more stuff that make this chrono special
Thank you!
Thanks to you
Hello again, missed you , nice video!
Thank you
i notice the few edits from where you want wrong. Putting the calendar on after the plate and also not putting the date corrector spring. This is where i'm stuck on mine. I can't get that quickset function to work and there are no drawing anywhere showing the keyless work without the plate on top of it. Are you able to help at all?
I am not sure what you mean exactly. Around 24min I put back the keyless work so you can have a look
I have the same watch which was left to me after my father passed away . It wasn't in working condition. I fixed it . Cost me about 250 usd to get it back in good condition
Perfect
Thank you for sharing this. I have a 2002 Y series. My appreciation for the model increased by a 100% from this video. Would be great to see a comparison between different GMT movements. Like a Rolex GMT, CW GMT and a Tudor or Seiko GMT. Again, many thanks! 👌
You are welcome
You have the best image imaginable and yet you place the parts far off target. Why? The result is great, but it makes me nervous to look at your work.🧐 Sorry.
Not sure what you mean
@@FrenchWatchCollector The video images are of very good quality, but placing the parts is difficult. I guess it wasn't your day...
Thanks for the video! I've been trying to fix my dad's old Enicar and I think I broke off the second hand pinion when removing/replacing the cannon pinion becaue there is no skinny little 'pin' for the second hand to stick to when replacing the hands. I have a (non-working) movement I bought off ebay for parts. Is the wheel at 21:10 the part I am looking for?
Yes the center wheel is the one that need to be attached to the second hand on the dial side
@@FrenchWatchCollector Thank you! I was actually able to replace the second wheel! However, after I put everything back together (basically putting that bridge back on over it), mainspring now won't release power to the rest of the movement after being wound. Did I misalign the bridge?
Bom dia Sr. French, bom trabalho obrigado pela partilha.
👍
It is so nice that you are back! I really love your videos man
Thank you so much
Beautiful watch!
Thank you
sorry to know you were sick, but, glad as hell you are well and still with us. hope you have gotten over whatever it was. great video as always, you have been missed my friend. by the way, what watch were you wearing those are definitely rootbeer colors on the bezel, looks great. each time i see a watch repair video, the person doing it is always wearing a nice watch but most of the time they don't tell us what it is. the 4K is crystal clear my friend, thank you so much.
Thank you so much for your comment. My watch is a Tudor black bay 58 bronze edition
Great video. I have one of these watched (manual version) that needs to be serviced. What movement is it? thanks
This one is a caliber 613 manual as well
Really glad you are better. Stay well.
Thank you so much
Haha !
😂
Thank God you are alive, Monsieur‼️ • Yes, you know I had already talked with you about sending you my Rolex DateJust for service, but that seems so petty on my part. • The truth is, between 2023 & 2024, a number of my KZread acquaintances lost their lives due to foolish behavior: TN FLY GIRL flew herself AND her father into the ground. REBUILD RESCUE left the rubber seal off a wing fuel tank, and the water contaminated fuel and a rushed pre-flight inspection led to the death of one of the team members, 🙄! • Anyway, I’m SO GLAD you’re still with us, because when I heard about your accident, I WAS SAD😖‼️
Thank you so much.
Great to see you back and I hope you are feeling better. Great video an hour well spent. Thanks.
Glad you liked it thank you
So glad my favourite watch repair channel is back😄! Happy you're feeling better!
Thank you so much
*It would have been good to have seen this finished on a timegrapher.*
It is on the timegrapher at the end of the video
@@FrenchWatchCollector *My mistake, I usually watch all the way through.* *Well done!* *Smiles*
Dear French Collector, • I’m glad to see you back, too! Best wishes from L’Etats-Unis!

Glad to you as well.
Welcome back i missed the videos!

I am so very happy to see you well, working and posting to your channel. I was worried that you might not be able to return. Your camera work and editing has become the best of any watch channel! Donc tres genial.
