    Seems like every year, somebody gets injured and we get some surprises. We will have to wait and see. It’s too early to predict who exactly makes the roster.

    Sam and the two undrafted QBs will battle it out during training camp and the three preseason games. That’s approximately a month and a half to determine which one of the three offer the best talents Steichen is looking for. 🙏😎🇺🇸

    "Sports Talk Indy" Why call it that when the only sports team in Indy you cover is the Colts. I love the Colts, but the name is misleading. Especially when you don't even live in the market and usually don't have a clue what you're talking about. I would try getting a real job if I were you.

    I disagree... Sam knows the offense and always plays really good football in camp and preseason... I don't care who started the year Ryan was traded for the result would've been the same... I watched Slovis a lot in college and the guy had one good season and then sucked the rest of his career...

    @iGoldenWax I'm not... I'm just stating a fact... he has a year in the offense and always seems to play really well in training camp and preseason... I could see him winning the 3rd QB spot... the other 2 guys are just camp arms imo... but we shall see... I do think he'll be gone after this season, though...

    Great analysis!!!👍👏 The average fan wants sparkling offense and downfield throws but (and this is a BIG but), DEFENSE keeps us in games!!! Last year’s corner and safety play (albeit injuries) was abysmal!! Bringing down average points allowed from 28 to 21 would make a HUGE improvement in our win-loss record!! Please sign a veteran free-safety!!! I hesitate to think what would happen to us if Blackmon was lost!!!😭😎🇺🇸

    Colts have ZERO credibility regarding being honest with their fan base about the health of QB1. Everyone remembers when we got played about Luck, but do you remember Peyton? Do you remember how many weeks into the 2011 season it was before they finally shut him down? The Colts have demonstrated overs many years that they are willing to lie to us about exactly this.

    I mean…2 years on payroll with no games and constantly rehabbing!! I don’t get it…now we MUST sign a safety…we have no choice. And what about corners? Is acquiring a veteran corner now totally out of reach? Or a veteran backup running back? Twinge in AR’s back today with no contact. Just goes to show you that optimism can erode quickly. Thank goodness Flacco threw beautifully today. We are blessed to have this 39 year old accurate passer as insurance. 🙏👍👏😎🇺🇸

    You can't question Ballard....fellow colts fans when call you a titans fan or whatever if you question anything.....

  • @RenegadeGamer89
    @RenegadeGamer8911 күн бұрын

    @@robertbrentjr857 I can question Ballard as much as I want because he continues to make the same mistake over and over, he seemingly chooses to neglect a position of weakness and it ends up being exploited all season. If it's not o line depth it's d line depth, if it's not d line depth it's offensive playmakers, and now it's our secondary. I don't understand why everyone is so comfortable Dallis Flowers at CB 1, he was an undrafted player who is coming off a season ending injury, but corner isn't even the biggest issue right now it's safety. The only safety we have that's actually any good is Blackmon, I know people are high on Nick Cross but I don't trust him yet. Yes he's shown flashes but the fact is he hasn't shown to be a consistent player in that secondary, mainly because he's still learning. I want Simmons or Diggs here because they have proven they can perform at a high level in this league on a consistent basis throughout their careers, and that's the way you develop young players. The fact is that Cross and Thomas may have potential but those guys aren't Charles Woodson, they aren't Sean Taylor or Troy Polamula who can just jump into the NFL and be great, they need someone who's proven it to show them how. If we continue to neglect that aspect then these guys are gonna end up losing their confidence, when they could end up being solid players if Ballard would just open up the damn checkbook for someone other than guys he drafted. Also you're point about me being called a Titan's fan is ridiculous. The reason I'm so irritated is because I love this team and I'm sick of seeing Ballard mishandle things. So now instead of hoping we can get a veteran safety in here to elevate and educate these young guys I'm supposed to be happy with a no name undrafted rookie? and not being okay with that means I'm a traitor? I'm tired of us being mediocre, I'm tired of watching every other team in our division improve right in front of us and having to accept all the gaslighting from "real Colts fans" when we have a GM who just wants to sit on our cap space like a frickin dragon.

    Everyone is talking about Mitchell, but I'm more pumped to see what Downs can do with AR for a full season... I believe Downs has a real chance to be the best slot receiver in the league... I know Mitchell has a high RAS score but that means nothing... I'm glad Ballard is starting to draft guys who produce instead of just going off RAS...
