Not only getting Mitchell in the 2nd round, but got two draft picks in the process, which allowed Ballard to trade up later to get his guys. Awesome draft, but time will tell.

I’m excited!

I did not think Latu would be there for us because I thought Atlanta or Denver would have taken him but they both picked quarterbacks! We got so lucky!

When the best edge rusher falls to you in the first round, you take him. Period. Elite edge rushers are as rare as elite QBs.

That’s one of the more ignorant things I’ve read on the internet today, and that is saying a lot. Did we need a QB? No. Did we try to move up for one of the stud WRs? Yes. Did we need an offensive tackle? Nope. The draft falls the way it falls, and we got the chance to get the first defender off the board.
