  I'm not Muslim, so my only exposure or learning about what it means to be Muslim is through people like you Aysha.   Hararis are pure somali and Afars with a mix of Oromo, Egyptians and Turks. I doubt Amhara and Tigre since these people where considered enemies till 18c after Minilik conquered Harar. I have a lot of cousins within Harari people, if you are harari and you can count your ancestors meaning know there names which alot of somalis especially in Ethiopia and what is now known somaliland please speak with somalis especially from Isaq, Gari, Sheekash and Harla from isa.
