hey girl hey, thank you for linking me in your show notes (1) your stress markers hit the spot! i carry stress in my neck and back; i never thought about it until nursing school when i couldn't turn my neck to drive! once i finished; i got a massage and it started to easy up. i'm noticing i'm having more neck and back discomfort within the last few months and i was going to the chiro to get adjusted which helped. i spoke to my doc about therapy, saw a therapist and she said i didn't need therapy! which i thought was interesting so i haven't tried again, maybe i will!! and yes ma'am you as mos def a friend to me!

Hello & Happy New Year. I just might join the MAL, but not 100% sure. 2023 was not a good year health wise and 2024 is continuing with some new issues; I can only laugh about it at this time. I'm getting ready for a frenectomy and I have been referred to a cardiologist in February. I'm turning 64 later this month (the 27th), and getting older has it ups and downs. Knitting/Crocheting has been slow, but I do have several patterns for a cardigan along with yarns to go with them. Thank you for the prize pattern; that might be my choice for the MAL. Nancy and I are also scheduled to co-teach at our LYS. Omg, I hope I can keep up Lol. Hugs, ida

Thank you Christina for sharing your knits and yarn storage solutions with us. I’m thinking that your clear front china cabinets would be perfect for storing all my handknits. Hello from Michigan! Your autumn pictures look beautiful. I am curious as to how you store handknits? Mine are in a drawer and as I acquire more I’m running out of drawers. The cabinet behind you looks like a great idea for storing them…if you don’t mind sharing where you purchased it? Thank you for sharing with the knitting community. I enjoy all your content and I’m sure many others will too as word spreads.

Hello Christina, I just found your channel yesterday through recommendation from Valorie 😊 - concerning the issue with the icord that you mentioned have you thought about taking out what you knit so far and add a knit row in the light colour before knitting the icord? This could perhaps help 🤞 - best wishes from Vienna - Verena

Another lovely podcast. Regarding the yarn and weight, as far as I know the yarn runs thru a meter so that the amount being sold is correct because yarn can become heavier due high humidity ( therefore you think you have more yarn meterage than you actually do)or lighter because it has lost weight due to lack of moisture and so you think you have less

In my experience, the cast-on that starts smoothly and goes to bind off without some "issue" is rare and long remembered. Which is why projects like the half & half or a Saturday Shrug are such a pleasure. As to under-weight skeins -- I've found more overs than shorts. I try to weigh each hank and note the exact grams when caking up.

Greetings for the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, great question. I hope I can meet you at Rhinebeck & maybe I can answer that question in person. But in a nutshell, I think it has given me some purpose in life by spreading the love of the craft. I've been volunt-teaching (volunteer teacher) at my Non-Profit LYS for the past 8 yrs. minus the Covid yrs. Currently, I'm trying to finish my Goldwing pullover for Rhinebeck & I have my Lento completed. I also, have a collection of WIP's, (Kari Cardigan, Salty Air Tee, Edie Tee, Twist & Turns Shawl, 3 blankets, 5 pairs of socks etc.) & I still want to cast on more Lol. Thanks for sharing your knitting & knowledge. Hugs, idaknits27
