I'm not a Forza fan by far but that title is very accurate imo. I tried the new one because I wanted to finally feel Forza on a wheel and I was not impressed. I'll stick to AC and ACC. Casual arcade and simcade racers just don't do it for me anymore

Absolutely agreed on PCars 1 vs 2, feel very same way. Another example would be Automobilista 1 vs 2, ironically second one uses PCars 2 engine, first one I think uses RFactor engine. As of today, years and years after release, they made huge progress on AMS2, but still at some level AMS 1 just feels more natural and direct. And just for the fun, try comparing WRC 7 vs WRC Generations. IDK how is that possible, but yeah, car physics makes a lot more sense in WRC 7, in WRCG it somehow manages to be twitchy and floaty the same time. And even the immersion part, visuals, feeling, I much rather prefer WRC7 over WRCG. So I guess it's far from normal or logical, but it happens.

Nah, FM5 is the best Motorsport ever. No greedy pratices, just you, your time and your ingame cash. In FM Rebot i cant save money because all the money i make is just to buy the next car just for other modes.....(and theyre expensive)

I said 2 years ago that it alot of potential. It used to feel a bit dodgy the physics but I seem how much work reiza were putting into it. But now it's a total different sim. The f1 cars with alot of aero are amazing

Does this game have some good damage modeling, I only wanted to know because when I race against others online I love to ram them and see all the damage done to my car and theirs as well. I like to crash right into the more serious SIM racers just to laugh my a** off for a good 15 min before I do it again so you see why damage model is so important.

Dude i have this stand and the bolts are heavy duty, if you were able to strip some big size BTR bolts like those then you were probably just not using the right size of hex key ^^ Btw you mounted the wheel tray completely wrong xD the tray is backwards and one of the bracket is too ^^

AMS 2 in VR using Virtual Desktop and a TP-Link AX3000 AX55 Archer wifi-6 router, I cannot enthasise how much the TP-Link AX3000 AX55 wifi-6 router have done for my Sim Racing in VR, I was getting bad freeeze frames that was making me crash, So I than done some home work, Got the TP-Link AX3000 wifi-6 and no more freezing, At all, In fact my CCTV camera's have benefited with a far better picture and sound quality, Wifi-6 is fantastic, Wifi-7 is out now as well, Wif-7 would be crazy gaming, With hardly any latency, Making your Sim racing a much better experience, But yeah I only got an i5 12600k CPU, A 12gb 3060 GPU and 32gb of ram, For the Quest 2 is pretty alright Sim Racing, You can get used parts of the specs on my PC and it would probably be less than a PS5, I can't get over how much the PSVR2 costs, Coz you need the PS5 to be able to use it, Making the Quest 2 and a medium specs in a PC for around the same cost of the PSVR and PS5, Plus you then have to pay for the playstation plus to be able to even game, The main reason I went to PC was coz I though it was a rip off, And when I bought the PS4 to begin my Sim racing journey, I wish I never bothered and just got a PC instead, As a PC can be used for far more than just gaming, I can't use Reason Music Software on a PS4, And I want to get back into Hip Hop production, Just at the moment everything else is to expensive to start getting the bits for music production, Need a new sound card, lol, But yeah I will never buy a console again, And that is crap saying that because consoles never used to be like that, All I see with PlayStation is DLC prices, Even though you pay a monthly fee to be able to use the darn thing, The cost of DLC packs is what is destroying consoles, I read the Quest 2 headset out sold consoles, Plus with the cost of living here in the UK, Getting a Quest 2 that is stand alone as well, Makes more sense, And there is even free games on Steam you can play in VR with the Quest 2, And link cable.... But yeah AMS 2 does the VR Sim Racing thing amazing, It is the only Sim Racing title I even puts on Anymore, Though I will try ACC later, I wonder if the new update ACC put out, Actually helps VR, Coz VR is not that good on ACC unless you is rocking a 40 series or 15gb of vRam, I think the fact my 3060 is 12gb of vRam is it's saving grace, Main reason I got it was coz I had at least 12gb of ram, lol, I will say Dirt Rally 2 is also flipping darn good, And Euro Truck 2 is also top in VR, Beam NG though, Not so good in VR, Again unless you is rocking a 4090 lol, Shame coz I think Beam NG would be far more popular if the VR was optimized like AMS 2, And yes I know physic's ect, So take some of the physics out for the VR, AMS 2 can do VR bad ass so why can't Beam NG do on OK job at VR, lol, And to think Beam NG was meant to be released as a VR game to begin with, Oculus was working with Beam NG, Now a Beam NG designed VR headset would sell pretty well, To have an fully replicated like Euro Truck, An Open Road Sim Racing title in VR, with crazy wild Police chases in a real life town is what is missing from VR, lol.... But yeah if you like AMS 2 using a flat screen, Wait until you try AMS 2 in VR, Even the detail inside the cars is there, Detail on the gloves and I bet if you had a high end CPU and GPU, A quest 3 connected using a PCVR link cable, Ultra mode AMS 2 in VR would be staggering, Even at medium to high that I got is still bad ass, So yeah I really do recommend you try AMS 2 in VR, You will be hooked, No more flat screen racing after you try VR, VR can even make you faster....

Totally agree, my favorite race sim as of right now. Really think Asetto went the wrong way with a GT only sim with Assetto Corsa Competizione. Hopefully evo will fix that

The latest models do have front mounts. However, Moza hasn't announced an official update (or V3) as of yet. The model DiMaggio is reviewing in this video looks like an old V2 though; no frontside mounting holes.

I just installed mine last night had the whole rig for a week prior. No creaks or issues or even noticible flex while driving .Now i have some kind of rattle seems likes its coming out of the wheel itself like the sound of a loose button. Work on my own motorcycle/service my car etc so i am no stranger to a wrench. I cant work out what i have done wrong here. I used torque wrench on base clamp 8nm, payed attention to the order of screws etc .😅 I was just saying to my misses before installing i really dont think i needed to buy this. Sim racers seem a little pedantic regarding noises etc. its safe to now say i am extremely bothered by this rattle and am also a little pedantic

I know its late but in the TH8S you can mount it with bolts i think, you have to un screw a lil' base where in the upper section of the part where you atach it an voila, there you have the space with bolts. I've seen it in a video but your video has convinced me to absolutly buy it. THANKS

I’ve owned👇🏻 Logitech Thrustmaster Fanatec Moza Simagic Simucube And my top 3 are 1 simagic 2 moza 3 simucube- only reason I put simucube 3rd is no full eco system after how many years,expensive, wireless wheel hubs are expensive, you’re average sim racer doesn’t need 17nm or more! Also owned 3 full fanatec setups and never again would I buy anything from them! Owned- CSW V2.5 9nm belt driven,gt dd pro 5nm and 8nm, also the newest clubsport dd 12nm! Gt dd pro and clubsport dd both even had qr2. All were junk. My moza r12 feels so much better than fanatec clubsport dd with was nothing but problems. And both are 12nm and my simagic alpha is 15nm.

They serve a considerable purpose for Console players who are thankful they finally get something other than a toy. And I have always waited a year before ordering a new Fanatec item and so far all items have been extremely reliable. I might order the Clubsport DD in 6 more months….I want to see how the company fares with new ownership.

Abour that rattle. I had R9V1. Went for R16 to get that extra oomph ;)This sounds can come from these 6 allen bolts on the shaft. Around the plate with the contact pins. Tightening them did the trick for me.

@@Tynelia Im using the R9 and have the CS and KS wheels. Everything has worked great so far and I have had no issues whatsoever. I run the base at full strength and reduce the strength in game accordingly. It does get quite warm after a while but no overheating problems. You have to remember, it has no cooling fan so the metal casing acts as a heat spreader of sorts so will get warm when used for long periods. I've been using this setup since late December

I just installed mine last night had the whole rig for a week prior. No creaks or issues or even noticible flex while driving .Now i have some kind of rattle seems likes its coming out of the wheel itself like the sound of a loose button. Work on my own motorcycle/service my car etc so i am no stranger to a wrench. I cant work out what i have done wrong here. I used torque wrench on base clamp 8nm, payed attention to the order of screws etc .😅 I was just saying to my misses before installing i really dont think i needed to buy this. Sim racers seem a little pedantic regarding noises etc. its safe to now say i am extremely bothered by this rattle and am also a little pedantic
I know its late but in the TH8S you can mount it with bolts i think, you have to un screw a lil' base where in the upper section of the part where you atach it an voila, there you have the space with bolts. I've seen it in a video but your video has convinced me to absolutly buy it. THANKS

No fanajunk is definitely a toy compared to moza and simagic! I’ve owned👇🏻 Logitech Thrustmaster Fanatec Moza Simagic Simucube And my top 3 are 1 simagic 2 moza 3 simucube- only reason I put simucube 3rd is no full eco system after how many years,expensive, wireless wheel hubs are expensive, you’re average sim racer doesn’t need 17nm or more! Also owned 3 full fanatec setups and never again would I buy anything from them! Owned- CSW V2.5 9nm belt driven,gt dd pro 5nm and 8nm, also the newest clubsport dd 12nm! Gt dd pro and clubsport dd both even had qr2. All were junk. My moza r12 feels so much better than fanatec clubsport dd with was nothing but problems. And both are 12nm and my simagic alpha is 15nm.
@@SIMRIG412 Maybe there is a difference between your R12 compared to my R9 but that’s not my point. I have owned 4.5 of the items on your list and I don’t consider Fanatec DD’s toys. They serve a considerable purpose for Console players who are thankful they finally get something other than a toy. And I have always waited a year before ordering a new Fanatec item and so far all items have been extremely reliable. I might order the Clubsport DD in 6 more months….I want to see how the company fares with new ownership.
@@SIMRIG412 the logitech pro is an amazing high quality bas with some .. odd design decisions and no damn eco system yet but in terms of ffb quality in the mid range its up there with the best

the dealbreaker for me is that you can't use it with PS5. You can with a third party tool, but any update can brake it then.
Not only that most of those things emulates a g29 or something so feedback quality is affected. Im looking into Simagic with the Sigma Cortex which emulates a Fanatec DD.

Abour that rattle. I had R9V1. Went for R16 to get that extra oomph ;)This sounds can come from these 6 allen bolts on the shaft. Around the plate with the contact pins. Tightening them did the trick for me.
Love my R9, using the KS wheel though.
How long have you owned it and have you had any problems? I want to get this exact setup in the future.

@@yoitsdaman No. I don’t run my ffb maxed out though, I don’t need to feel like the wheel is going to be ripped out of my hands to feel good ffb.
@@Tynelia Im using the R9 and have the CS and KS wheels. Everything has worked great so far and I have had no issues whatsoever. I run the base at full strength and reduce the strength in game accordingly. It does get quite warm after a while but no overheating problems. You have to remember, it has no cooling fan so the metal casing acts as a heat spreader of sorts so will get warm when used for long periods. I've been using this setup since late December
