Appreciate the love my man. I wasn't expecting you to go through and watch everything! It's very easy to be disappointed, most of the stuff I used to be happy with I now struggle to look at. But I think that's part of the journey and being able to see progress makes me feel chuffed, I think that's the point of this channel. Just tracking progress. I felt a little embarrassed or something, uploading a video where I was being honest and happy. Almost took it out. But stuff it, thought it would be good to spread some happiness!

"It took me about 7000 hours to put this together - and I'm not sure if it was worth it" - story of my life that. As someone who makes content I know how mentally hard it can be to make that kind of stuff and not get the reaction you want so well done for this - it was great and I really appreciate the set-up, editing and voiceover effort you must have gone to - it was class and it WAS worth it! As for the new army, well, you said you wanted to clear a load of models from the backlog so I'm gonna vote for the 48 Goblin Town warriors - use Contrast paints and paint them in one massive batch - that's what I'm planning on doing as and when I get to mine so it will be cool to watch someone else do it first to see if it's a great idea or if it's something that I should absolutely not do under any circumstances - great work again - keep it up! Great video dude - really enjoyed seeing what you've got coming up and I look forward to following the journey of how much you get done! What to paint next? Anything SBG gets my vote! I say stick with the Fellowship and get that cool diorama done. As for which Gandalf, the Bridge of Khazad Dum one is great and very fitting for the sequence but you can't beat that original one with the hat on -particularly given most of your other sculpts are the original Fellowship set, I'd say go with that one - if it's not too late of course... Damian
@Lekdog4 ай бұрын
It is too late in the sense that I started painting Gandalf last night. It's not too late because I went with classic hat Gandalf. SBG will be what I paint, for sure want a new army (not counting my all hero army projects), preferably a good army. But can always dip back into Goblin Town to get some models out of the backlog!

I really loved all your stuff (the sculpted Mordor Trolls are awesome!) but especially the Goblin town models, I'm a big fan on Unexpected Journey and loved that starter set too - I've painted up 3 full Thorin's Companies in my time but never managed the Goblins. I've got a massive pile in the backlog and they're always sitting there tempting me! I also loved the idea that the point of cataloguing your collection is so it can be sold by your family if you die - bleakly hilarious! I must tell my wife! Keep it up dude - Damian
