I recorded and uploaded everything in stereo, without any editing whatsoever. A lot of these acetate cuts aren't balanced, or have distortion of some kind, so I suggest checking them out in mono (look up "mono" in your device's settings!). Some sound better like that, others don't. It's up to you! Make sure to set the quality to 1080p. All filming and visual effects are my own!
*TRACKLIST WITH DESCRIPTIONS (ENGLISH)* *--- SIDE A ---* 0:00 *Giuliano Girardi - Hush (~1968)* Yet another version of the Deep Purple classic with a touch of psychedelia that certainly doesn't hurt. Little is known about GIULIANO other than his surname: GIRARDI. The song was supposedly recorded in 1968! 2:51 *Onde Blu - Layla (1969)* 5:59 *Onde Blu - È Lunedì (1969)* 1969 single that proclaimed the band as the Italian alter ego of the more famous Cream. The track LAYLA is nothing other than the Italian version of Strange Brew. Unfortunately very little is known about the band. 9:03 *Pipistrelli - Loneliness (1971)* 15:43 *Pipistrelli - Evil Ways (1971)* Band from Avellino who had two singers of British origin among their ranks!!! The two covers give us an unrepeatable atmosphere! The tracks were recorded during a performance by the band in 1971! At the organ we find none other than MICHELE ACAMPORA, factotum of the Beat sound in Campania!!! 19:05 *Tubi Lungimiranti - Il Vento Dell'Est (1967-70)* Cult band of the late 60s Italian beat. Authors of two singles between 1968 and 1970, in this case they revisit the song IL VENTO DELL'EST by Gian Pieretti. The group from Fano, in the province of Pesaro, was led by the extravagant UMBERTO BULTRIGHINI on vocals and lead guitar; PAOLO DEL BIANCO on second vocals and second guitar; PIERLUIGI MATTIELLO on organ; FRANCESCO DEL BIANCO on bass; GIORGIO GRASSI on drums. The group disbanded in 1970 due to contractual problems! *--- SIDE B ---* 21:35 *Claudio - Fuoco (~1968)* This song, probably recorded in 1968, was originally recorded by Arthur Brown in England and taken over in Italy by soloist POPI. CLAUDIO from Milan, however, remains a mystery. 24:28 *Fantom's - Nadia (1967)* 28:25 *Fantom's - Il Treno (1967)* An exceptional band from Turin, Italy, who recorded this single in 1967 containing these tracks that went down in the history of the Beat sound in Italy! Very special construction, insane use of fuzz and distortion!!! One of the rarest records of the time and perhaps one of the most beautiful!!! The band also recorded another single the next year, clearly protesting against massacres and wars!!! 31:17 *Sensazioni - Il Viaggio (1969)* Band from Piacenza who, under the name of NODI, invaded the town with clear Beat sounds! With the arrival of psychedelia, they changed their name and recorded this song on acetate, which until today, had remained buried and rejected by the majors!!! The song entitled IL VIAGGIO, clearly takes up the topic of 'trips' so dear to the themes of the period. Fantastic Rubble sound from 1969!!! 35:09 *Rivelazioni - Noi Eravamo Noi (196x)* 38:06 *Rivelazioni - In Te (196x)* Mysterious band from the late 1960s; the group gives us this single with pop-psychedelic atmospheres!!! 41:16 *Pimps - Preghiera Nel Vento (1971)* PIMPS - Very obscure band from Bologna, active between 1967 and 1973! The group, dedicated to a psychedelia that would soon turn into progressive rock, leaves us this extremely rare acetate, recorded in 1971, of which only 20 copies were pressed!!!! 45:45 *??? (OUTRO)* Unlisted track at the end of the record. Judging by the sound, it's probably from the early 70s, but that's all I can say.

Sì, nella versione "comune" del 45 giri, il titolo è "Non sono Maddalena". Questa, però, è una variante (molto rara) pubblicata con un titolo diverso, e con un altro pezzo sul lato B, "Inno all'amore", una cover di "Hymne à l'amour" di Edith Piaf. È principalmente per quest'ultimo che ho voluto pubblicare il disco sul mio canale, per completezza però ho registrato anche il lato A.

In 1978 I was 16, and I had just discovered electronic music in all its forms (german cosmic music, mainly, but also Devo, Eno, the first Franco Battiato...). I heard "Sauza" on a radio station, and partly recorded it on a tape. I know it's much more jazz than electronic, but it did have a "cosmic" flavour to me. Anyway, since then I never heard it anymore, neither I knew anything more about the musician and/or the album. Now I filled that gap. Thank you so much!

An excellent album you have posted here. I looked this 1978 recording up on Discogs and was amazed that I didn't recognize one name! I am always looking for funk interpretations from Europe and Japan, many of those groups put their own twist on the genre and most times improved it.
Indeed !..... Looking always for a sounding twist that give the listener another sound adventure with acoustic reward.... One of those here. I tend to join you in the way deal with your searches.
