    Guess I'll need to see which of these venders sell left hand guitars. I'm sure most can be ordered. I have 3 guitars on order from Sire with delivery in Feb but not a traditional Tele. I went with the Sire T7FM but after ordering I'm really curious about a simple Tele. Maybe a T7.

    Just watched your DCX Boost video, which I really liked . And was searching info on the new Cali76 Fet compressor. Bingo 😂 Seems you're on the same journey for tone as mine 😊. I think I'm going to put Cali Fet Comp and DCX Boost as my 2 first pedals, some kind of MIAB as number 3, Keeley Dark Side #4, and Providence Delay # 5. And eat pasta for the next 3 months 😂

    I'm searching for the ultimate tone enhancer/shaper as first pedal on my futur compact pedalboard (5 pedals, 6 max). I wonder if this is better than a compressor ? To me this seems really more versatile, and can do the compressor trick I'm looking for (enhance the signal, lush tone shaping). The J Rockett Airfield 66 Comp is the close contender. What is your opinion ? Thanks for the awesome review 👍

    Yo! I've not yet jumped on an Iridium to put on my pedal board to use as a direct to FOH, ampless rig. It still has my favorite "form factor" - simple and practical and all I need, nothing I don't - easy to dial on the fly. Do you still think it holds its own against the current competition like the Tonex and Boss IR-2 as a direct to FOH setup?

  • @SuperdangerStudios
    @SuperdangerStudios3 күн бұрын

    I would say the ToneX is really a cut above. I use the IK Multimedia stuff all the time and it sounds amazing. The ToneX one is such a simple setup and I think its like $175 or close to that. The Dream still amazes me with it's sound as well. Really great tones, but no Midi. Haven't tried the IR-2 but I have heard great things online. Really they all offer quality tones, it just depends on what kind of extra features you would need, (stereo, midi, latency, etc).

    I bought a bunch of York Audio IRs a while back and your videos were very helpful in figuring out which ones to get. @@SuperdangerStudios Not to add more clutter to this comment section, but you should get your hands on the Supro 64 reverb--the multi-knob brother of the one-knob-wonder Supro 64 Super, which you have. The 64 reverb has a mix line out that you can run into the Iridium and use as the preamp (turning off the Iridium amp sim). I was pretty impressed with how good it sounds through Iridium IRs. Plus, you can dial in the real spring reverb of the amp for that vintage glory. Anyway--just a suggestion. Thanks!
