I personally don't like the new box, it was the galaxy pack that got me in to buying the figures because I can see the mural pic whilst the box is displayed instead of having to pic to view the window or the mural

I almost bought Cad Bane and Magistrate Karga at Target the other day, but the more I looked at them the more I realized how bad they were. Flat paint with no detailing. Shame because they are good molds.

One thing I've learned about Hasbro in the past couple of years: they don't care who you want, unless it's a repaint/reissue so they won't have to spend any extra money.

I’ll order 2 x Destroyer Droids. I’ll cancel my 2 x Super Battle Droid 2 pack and just order 2 x Clean versions when released. I like the new Phase 1 Clone Trooper, but I have 8 of the other 2020 Phase 1 Clone Trooper, so I’ll stick with them.

Quick amendment - The Pipelined IG-12, Grogu and anzellan will not be a 3 pack. Rather, just a delxue IG-12 with the other two added in. Thats my mistake I saw Three characters and immediately thought 3-pack...

I can't wait to get the Thrawn trilogy 3 pack w/Mara Jade and Luke Skywalker and his clone. I really enjoy the series even if it's not made into a movie. I also can't wait to get Hammerhead. He's my favorite SW creature.

I wish Hasbro would go back to the clone helmets produced with, and before Commander Bly, when the visors still looked good... and not the new stpid- looking, skinny version. Hasbro rounded the 3.75" comes helmets with the same stupid design.

The only one I disagree with is Marrok and I'd replace his spot with Shin, who I still think looks bad because her face is just... off. But the rust on Marrok is actually quite accurate, yes slightly overdone, but in bts photos in good lighting, the actual costume is pretty rusty.

Yeh, I mostly agree with you. The number one spot looks like a good droid to do a custom paint job on. It certainly has the worst paint job of the series. I think your assessments were pretty spot on.

I do think 2023 was a good year for the black series, just not the best imo. Although I don’t think it was the greatest year in terms of quality, Hasbro did manage to deliver a good range of characters, with some figure being truly incredible (wicket, CW Ahsoka, Appo, StarKiller). However, I can’t ignore the fact that a tone of other figs released with glaring issues which ultimately left me a little salty. Especially considering that the prices of figures have increased and therefore we should be getting more accurate figures of higher quality. Yet for many 2023 releases that wasn’t the case. Therefore, I do look back on many of this years products with a sour taste in my mouth.

Marrock is such a shame. The base figure is honestly great. If they had of nailed the paint I feel like it would have been on a lot of peoples favourites list. I’ve enjoyed playing with him.

Yeah I totally agree. The figure has a good foundation yet has really terrible paint which is a shame as he could have been amazing. But, there are some really great customs paint jobs I’ve seen which make him look infinitely better!
