Yes - I agree. There is a company at Southend Airport that applies the liveries onto the aircraft so we have had a few in to be reliviried. Most of them come in with the Lufthansaa livery and depart with the EW livery applied.

Eurowings A321 departing Southend Airport runway 05 on 1 March 2023. The Eurowings A321 (reg. D-AIDU) was operating flight EW6971 to Dusseldorf. It had been at Southend Airport to have a new livery applied.

Sorry but that's engine noise not howl. The howl is resonance which comes out of the intakes at high power, so you have to be standing in front of the aircraft to hear it, and this vid, lovely though it is, doesn't have the howl.

Best airport to fly in and out of. I can park my truck less than 50 yards from the plane. Got lucky last flight parked right in front of the terminal. Here in Kalamazoo we get frequent B-17's and 24 liberators. They buzz my house occasionally knocking pictures off the wall.

In 1960 I was taken by my elder brother to the RAF Gaydon ‘At Home’ air show and three Vulcans did a flight take-off. Even now I can remember the noise and feeling of the ground rumbling like a massive thunder storm - very appropriate for the Vulcan.

@@georgesjourneys9007 Well you say that but in Southend, when things get dull, they try to destroy the pier. Multiple fires and a good few collisions, so I was expecting “lightly destroyed by an accidentally live round dropped during an air display re-enactment of the Torry Canyon”. 😀
