Carnivore Teacher

Carnivore Teacher

Welcome to my KZread channel. I am carnivore which means I only eat animal products: Beef, lamb, pork, poultry, fish, and eggs are my staples. I cook in butter, ghee, beef tallow, pork lard, chicken schmaltz, or duck fat. I transformed my mind, body and emotions so much that I have to pay it forward with my KZread channel free to anyone who wants to learn about the Proper Human Way of Eating. I do not sell any products or sponsor any companies. I offer knowledge which I believe is power. Please leave questions or comments and I will answer every one. :)

    Thanks for creating and sharing, John. Wonder what sort of bliss point steak has since it really only has two out of the three aspects (i.e. fat, salt). Probably has a "lower" bliss point but curious your thoughts.

  • @Carnivoreteacher1965
    @Carnivoreteacher196517 сағат бұрын

    Bliss point requires three ingredients to reach the point of extreme dopamine release. We may enjoy the natural fat in a steak and the salt we add, but steak is missing the important sugar ingredient to hit that addictive point. We love steak, but our leptin hormone from our fat cells and stretch receptors send that signal to our brains to satiate us. That steak does NOT taste so good anymore at one point of eating. Because of the sugar aspect of the bliss point, leptin is not triggered. Also, in snack foods, seed oils are used as the FAT component, not mostly saturated animal fats.

    Hi John, speaking of bliss point I want to share something with you. My wife and I just got a 11 week old Tonkinese kitten. He had been on kibble and commercial pet food meat. We had his first vet appointment yesterday for his vaccination, worm pill and flea treatment. We discussed diet and I said to the vet that I intended giving him a raw meat diet. The vet had a disapproving look on her face and said that kittens and cats also need 50% of their diet to be kibble to eat a “balanced diet” as the kibble contains added nutrients. She said they’d seen problems with bone health on cats fed exclusively on a raw meat diet. She gave us a sample pack of ‘premium’ branded (not available in the supermarket) kibble which whilst 90% meat also contains lentils and other stuff like dried cranberry. The ingredient list is over 20 items. Even the vets are pushing heavily processed foods. We received a take home pack that not only included the free kibble but also brochures on two different pet insurance providers. So sad how $$$ driven model has extended to vets. Do you and your partner have any pets? And if so what’s their diet consist of? I’d be interested to see you do a video on the diet of cats and dogs. Regards Glenn

    That angers me! Even in the veterinarian's office, they are pushing ultra-processed food and that is because that is what they learn in college just like doctors for humans. Oh and buy that ever-expensive pet insurance too! Ugh. No, your beautiful new kitten will absolutely thrive on pure carnivore meats fish and even eggs. Cats are even more carnivorous than dogs are. Cats MUST have carnivore foods. You can cook some of it, unlike dogs who benefit from an all-raw animal meat diet. When Doug and I had dogs we had a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix and a Rottweiler from puppyhood until old age. We were not eating the proper human diet ourselves that entire time, so we didn't know to feed dogs their species-specific diet too. Our malinois/shepherd mix lost her muscle mass and we had to put her down because she couldn't hold herself up anymore and was suffering after the age of 14. Our rotti, went blind at the age of 10 and later had a stroke at the age of 13. I wish we knew to feed them the proper K9 food, but we did not. Should we ever get another dog, we will absolutely feed it a raw diet of ground-up chicken and bison with raw eggs and even lamb. All nutrition is in that for dogs.

    @@Carnivoreteacher1965 Hi John, thanks for sharing your and Doug’s experiences with your dogs. I deeply appreciate you sharing your experiences and knowledge. My wife Fran had a tabby cat that was fed purely a raw meat diet, plus a bit of raw fish and raw egg a couple of times a week and thrived and lived to a ripe old age with no health problems. After our vet visit I said to my wife how did feline cats and big cats like cheetahs and lions live healthy lives for over 500,000 years with added vitamins and minerals. It’s sad that even our vets are now part of the multinational companies push into the lucrative processed food pet food market.

    For me personally, junk food/Ultra processed foods, because although not ideal, your gut microbiome (without pesticides and anti biotic compounds sprayed on crops/plants) your gut can actually, slowly but surely overtime produce Oxalobacter. It's a bacteria that can actually consume and discard oxalates pretty much. BUT in my opinion that isn't ideal so I prefer just carnivore + ferments plants + fermented raw dairy. That's my dietary makeup. So basically a dr sean omara kind of diet lol

    The problem with glucose, starch and sugar is that it's addictive, it's like alcohol is to an alcoholic, and if you think you can only settle for a little, most people will find that they can't, many spend years of their lives struggling with this addiction instead of just weaning themselves completely and making peace with the foods that do not create this stressful state/life that also has a negative effect on health.
