FraunhoferIPA

FraunhoferIPA

Organisatorische und technologische Aufgabenstellungen aus der Produktion machen die Forschungs- und Entwicklungsschwerpunkte des Fraunhofer IPA aus. Methoden, Komponenten und Geräte bis hin zu kompletten Maschinen und Anlagen werden von uns entwickelt, erprobt und exemplarisch eingesetzt. 19 Fachabteilungen decken den gesamten Bereich der Produktionstechnik ab, werden durch sechs Geschäftsfelder koordiniert und arbeiten interdisziplinär mit Industrieunternehmen zusammen. Unsere Videos demonstrieren einerseits die Funktionalität der bei uns entwickelten Innovationen. Andererseits geht es uns darum, Einblicke in unsere Forschungsaktivitäten zu gewähren und unsere Entwicklungen und Leitthemen branchenfremden Zuschauern vorzustellen.

    Beeindruckende Technik, aber wie wird die DSGVO eingehalten und wo werden die Daten gesammelt?

  • @FraunhoferIPA
    @FraunhoferIPA14 күн бұрын

    @timh8387, vielen Dank für das Interesse an dem Forschungsprojekt. Es wurde schon vor Inkrafttreten der DSGVO durchgeführt. Die Datensicherheit ist aber trotzdem gewährleistet, weil personenbezogene Daten nicht gespeichert werden. Außerdem ist die Kamera immer auf den Boden gerichtet und erfasst deshalb keine Personen. Die Messdaten der Sensoren werden nur kurz analysiert und unspezifische Daten (beispielsweise die Raum-Koordinaten der Verschmutzungen) weiterverwendet. Das System erhebt generell keine persönlichen oder personenbezogenen Daten. Jegliche optische Datenverarbeitung erfolgt direkt auf dem System - es werden also keine Bilder gespeichert. Zwar gibt es die Option, nicht zu reinigende Verschmutzungen als Bild zu speichern (alternativ nur als Karteneintrag), wobei hier ausschließlich Bilder vom Fußboden gespeichert werden. Sollte dabei ein kritisches Dokument auf dem Boden liegen und irrtümlicherweise als Schmutz erkannt werden, der nicht gereinigt wird, so sollte das Unternehmen, bei dem der Roboter zum Einsatz kommt, den Umgang mit kritischen Dokumenten überdenken. Zusätzlich kann der Zugriff auf die Bilddaten des Roboters entsprechend geregelt werden.

    This way of wiring is designed for humans, instead of forcing robots into it, we should instead redesign the whole process so it is more fitting for a robot

    You are right, that is also our philosophy: avoid processes if possible, if not possible design automation-friendly. Check out our ”design for automation” workshops and ”automation analysis” to find the best way to implement automation. You can find more information about Automation Potential Analysis (APA) here: www.ipa.fraunhofer.de/en/expertise/robot-and-assistive-systems/assembly-automation/automation-potential-analysis.html and about Design for Automation (DfA) here: www.ipa.fraunhofer.de/en/expertise/robot-and-assistive-systems/assembly-automation/automation-potential-analysis.html#faq_faqitem_236013113_co-answer

    The robots have been in daily operation for more than 20 years and thus have been one of the first and longest installations of that kind. One of the robots together with other ground breaking robot developments at Fraunhofer IPA can be visited in our exhibition “Meilensteine der Robotik”: www.ipa.fraunhofer.de/de/Kompetenzen/roboter--und-assistenzsysteme/meilensteine-der-robotik.html

    I'd say 80% of the panels I've built has required human interpretation due to the fact that the design documents and drawings have a lot of errors or are just not complete enough. Only after the engineers get their technical and wiring diagrams right can we start thinking about making a robot blindly follow those instructions

    I think this is not going to work smoothly with wires and cables al cobbled up together in the cable ducts. If it is, I want to see a video cause that would mean that automation is indeed possible. Or maybe somehow there's a better way to connect devices than the traditional busbars/wires/ferrule crimp contacts.
