Start big and work your way down, if you're premixing, do 32:1. Don't use ethanol fuel. Don't forget to adjust your needle position if needed. Carb tuning is not something you can just look up for an exact answer, you have to do it yourself in the end. Every bike is different, especially when it's not stock, and it depends on what elevation you're at too.

J'ai acheté une 795 triumph Bonneville neuve en 2006 en croyant retrouver les sensations de la vraie bonnie 64 à 70 et j'ai ete très déçu. C'était tres fiable mais tres linéaire.Revendue à 8000 km 6 mois plus tard.La votre est magnifique.

They were built for really good fuel mileage, good torque down low but not much power up in the higher rims. Not as much power as a modern (70s) 2-stroke.

A unit construction pre-oil-in-frame 650 Triumph is a great usable classic to own with plenty of performance and spares back-up. Single carb models a better choice I reckon.

Yes, I had a '69 TR6 for years, a better bike for around town use & less fussy. But for fast back roads the Bonnie shines.

honda SL-XL 350cc single with balanced crank, the best small engined bike ever made, everything else benchmarks against this bike IMO, Ive lost count of the hondas I've owned now XL 90 125 185 TL125 CB185 250 and now a rockhopper japanese import, and I've never had an engine failure due to manufacturing, I've blown up yamahas, suzukis, kwakas and a couple of British made machines but never a honda, change the oli/filter, set the tappets and go,
