For Ayla Schofield it was the love of country music. As an emerging artist from Germany and a former contestant on The Voice of Germany, she recently collaborated live with Oliver Anthony, after her fiddle collaborations with the country music sensation hit 1.5 million streams within the first week. On May 24th. Ayla released her new original single "Sometimes It Is".
Ayla's unique blend of singing and fiddle-playing, reminiscent of Alison Krauss, shines through in her debut EP "Little Big Journey," produced by Grammy-nominated Michael Hanson.
Ayla is currently touring Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands while releasing new material and planning a few shows in the US in fall of 2024.

The one verse says a lot, “just doing what the TV says” while the whole song is very true and we all need to wake TFU. The best thing I ever did was get rid of every tv in the house. I bought one smart tv and no service except internet which is used to learn. No more waiting time on the idiot box, I took my son outside and told him that we are going to learn together. First we watched a video on building a shed, then we built one. He said it was so much more fulfilling to build that shed with me than wasting time watching TV. That’s when I knew I had made the right choice. Now we watch videos and then do something together. Today we are doing a brake job on my truck. Please get rid of those useless tv’s and get outside.
