oh wow I didn't know Blank Street was an international brand! There's one by my work that I've been to once although I wasn't particularly impressed with it. I got the iced rose chai latte and it was very watery (even drinking it right away - the ice had not melted at all). Maybe the hot version would've been better, but it was a no for me.

Personally Huel specifically chocolate and cold are the best drinks I’ve ever had I cannot taste any protein and they don’t give me a tummy ache so can be drunk right before a work out and immediately I feel energised without any buzz feeling or bloating! I am fussy with protein stuff and vitamin things so this says alot from my view!! I am also a milk enjoyer so that changes things ❤

idk if you can get them in the uk, but a protein bar that actually tastes good is nugo bar! my favorite is the dark chocolate sea salt + pretzel but they have a bunch of flavors. some are definitely more "protein bar" tasting than others but none of them are terrible

I feel like it's not really a fair test on Huel if you already know you don't like protein and don't consume those products as part of your regular diet - they're that kind of product so are bound to taste protein-y. I'd be interested in seeing how Huel fairs against other similar brands! The blue dungarees from Halara did look really nice! I reckon for someone who is really active they might be into those kinds of materials

Med student here, so the thing with artificial sweeteners is that we in medicine actually use them in a lot of laxatives so yeah they will most likely cause problems to many people. And those nutritional drinks remind me a lot of enteral nutrition which is given to people who cannot ingest enough calories and nutrients themselves, maybe the point of Huel was to give those people who need them more taste options, that's the only thing that makes sense to me.

Try the Huel food? Like the Mac and cheese? It looks so gross but the ads make it sound like it’s so good so I’m curioussss. Also, Halara has such little transparency in their supply chain, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s are fast fashion, child labor made, and/or sweatshop made. Esp since their factories are in places known for not the best labor practices… Fabletics doesn’t use sweatshops (as they say) but grain of salt yk…

I wear the Halara wide leg pants EVERY DAY to work! So so so comfy, i have pink, black and blue 👏 everything else i ordered i had to submit for a return becasue they were dreadful hahaha 😅 they let me keep the items and gave my money back! Im in Aus though so i wonder if its different

Telling people to “just moisturise properly” instead of using eye cream is terrible advice. Creams that are designed for the rest of the face are far too heavy to be used on the eye area and can cause severe irritation

I think that any influencer unless they also are medically qualified, should NOT be pitched a health/lifestyle product. Because you can't trust that they genuinely like what they are promoting. Nor do they even know what the are promoting and what they ACTUALLY can do to your body. Example: Bloom, Drunk Elephant, Better Help, etc. I know you're not American, but it is VI TA MIN not v it a min

I am an American with parents that are from Europe, so I grew up eating good baked goods from the ethnic bakeries. I have also baked for 30 years myself. And I am sad to say that many Americans, the ones that don't have strong ties to their original heritage, have no clue what good bakes taste like. They have been fed this mediocre crap for their whole lives and they think that this is what it is supposed to taste like.

I just ordered my first item with Halara, and only after purchasing did they post a note that it may or may not have a logo. Firstly, their logo is bad. Secondly - that's fraudulent advertising. When I messaged them to explain that they need to update their pictures before selling customers something different, they kept arguing that the customer can return items they don't want. Why would a customer want to work for them for free? Processing returns takes work.

The red thing in the Ramen is beni shoga, red pickled young ginger (color comes from red shiso leaves), I love it as topping for my ramen btw❤️

I'm so pleased you tried beauty pie. They really are amazing. I don't know if you read into the pricing but they use the best ingredients. Their juju moisturiser is the best dupe for bobbi brown. I've been with beauty pie over 4 yesar and even get their stuff for my teen.

To be honest here, Grace, I wouldnt like Waterdrop, too, if I had dissolved one cube in just one glass of water. I always dissolve one cube in at least one liter. I honestly love them so much this way. But I have my three favorite flavours ... The rest is not for me

I absolutely love huel, I compete a lot and eating is always off the cards, but drinking is fine and it gives you energy. Sometimes I even have them just as a drink as I really enjoy them! If you’re not sure then just try one from a shop anyway! ❤❤

I know someone from my rock climbing group who said the Huel chocolate drink was ok, not too healthy tasting so as you say, each to their own. Beauty Pie I use some stuff from regularly in my daily skin care routine and love it!
