Which model suppressor did you have?
You’re asking about the one sent in for service? If so, the Nomad L.
I sent a can back to silencerco that has a baffle strike. It was the best customer service experience I have ever had. They replaced it at no cost.
This or Adams iron remover?
Two very different products that do different things.
Do any of these allow you to change the hose once it goes bad?
I haven’t looked into every brand but not explicitly so with any brand that I’ve seen.
@@HaiTran After some searching I found RMX BlueSeal for ~$214 that is a ugly blue, but looks like it will last a long time, and replacebale hose. They have other models and colors but much higher price. So there is an option for me...IF I am willing to paint it, LOL! Thanks for the reply!!
No problem and hope you find something you like!
How is the hose reel holding up?
Still functional. I don’t know if it’s in my head but I think the colors have faded a bit this summer.
Am I understanding this correctly? I would need a form1 to engrave any images or design on my firearm or is it just to have a personalized serial number or serial number in general.
I’m pretty sure you can engrave just about anything you want that’s not illegal as long as you have the money to pay for it.
so its been 6 months have you gotten a new Xeno yet?
They did send me a replacement eventually but it wasn’t quick and did require some back and forth. It actually seemed like they forgot they were supposed to send me one so I had to reiterate the entire situation.
@@HaiTran that is disheartening
From my experience, that’s typical Dead Air…
My keymo mount worked loose or i didnt tighten it correctly, blew out the end cap. After no luck contacting DA, i just bought an end cap. Started buying Diligent Defense since they take DA mounts and endcaps.
Unfortunately with DA, spending some money and buying the parts yourself can sometimes be a much better option if you want to actually use your gear any time soon.
Just bought a grill with 9mm stainless steel grates, im definitely buying this! Thanks for the in-depth review.
Hope you like it 👍🏽
It’s not good to use it at all there is a lot of dirty oil still left in the engine
How are they 4 years later? Im looking to get a set and landed on these (except that the ones im looking at have supports on 2 sides of the legs) are they any good still or should i look else where?
They still work as they should.
@@HaiTran w1
Similar situation here; Air 2S front arm connections broke (both sides, not due to a crash but manufacturing defect). DJI replaced it under warranty without question. 8-day turnaround for the replacement drone, which was awesome. They also threw in a new set of props. :) Good luck with your replacement-replacement!
The second one is being delivered back to them tomorrow so fingers crossed I get another replacement soon!
@@HaiTran Going to have to send mine back too; I just got a gimbal-stuck error (40002). Calibration, cycling the power and "checking for dust" to satisfy tech support (it's not dirty; I haven't flown it yet), removing the microSD card... None of that worked. :(
That sucks. Hopefully it gets fixed quickly!
Did you hit the first baffle?
It’s been quite awhile so I can’t say for sure but I don’t think so.
I bought one.
Hope you like it 👍🏽
Great video and very informative video❤❤❤NEW SUBSCRIBER 💫💫🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for the support!
Good to know!!
Good luck 👍🏽
DJI CARE is not for every country ..... They told me that Puerto Rico a USA territory was not a covered zone.
It is what it is 👍🏽
“preparing for eforms” is where i am at.. its been 7 days lol
I’m surprised it’s slowed down.
Top service by DJI. Wow.
Yeah it was good until I found out that the drone they sent me didn’t work properly.
@@HaiTran You already waiting for a new fix?
They sent me a new return shipping label but I’ll have to figure out when it would be the best time to ship it back considering my schedule.
Thank you so very much for this review. I am incredibly grateful. I'm now convinced to avoid Dead Air suppressors.
Hope you can find something that works for you 👍🏽
How old was the original mini 4 pro
My original Mini 4 Pro serial number is still linked to my account. I saw it last night and believe it says it’s been activated for around 56 days.
What a nightmare. I hope aero precision isn’t this bad if my lahar takes a crap
Aero generally has good customer service when I’ve dealt with them but who knows since NFA items and generally handled differently.
*UPDATE 1* I just noticed that the drone DJI returned to me has a completely different serial number. Did they actually send me a completely new drone?!?! *UPDATE 2* DJI Customer Service called me 2 days after I received the new drone just to see if I've had a chance to use the new drone and to check if everything is working properly. That's some good attentive customer service! *UPDATE 3* I flew the new drone for the first time but it has a "Backward Vision Sensor Error". Basically, the drone thinks that something is constantly behind it so it won't fly backward. Looks like this one is going back to DJI for another repair. *UPDATE 4* 7/19/24 - 2nd Drone Arrived Back to DJI 7/22/24 - DJI marked my case as "Received by DJI Service Center" 7/23/24 - DJI inspected and sent me a quote for the service. They want me to either pay $2 for a repair or $65 for a DJI Care Refresh replacement. This makes no sense since DJI sent me a faulty drone. I've contacted customer support and they will have to escalate this situation to another department. 7/23/24 - DJI sent me an email saying they'll fix the drone for free. I'd rather just have a replacement considering the drone was already defective when new, but it is what it is.
Yeah , or just renewed
most likely as they have a refurbished section for broken/ returned drones that were repaired
Most likely or refurbished
In any case, it's better than what I sent in 🤣
I have a Sandman S. Blew it off my Sig .300 blackouts. It went about 10 yards, destroying the baffles. Sent it to them and had it back in about 10 days. I think they are great.
Hope ppl are getting a similar good service, but the comments would certainly say otherwise.
I am also not gonna buy dead air suppressors, there are a lots of company who are better than them, after your video I went ahead and bought 1 rugged, 1 Griffin armament, 1 YHM, and 1 surefire.
Hope they work out for you 👍🏽
Had a baffle strike on my wolfman last august 2023 on its first shot with tri lug on my apc9. Still waiting for it to be figured out. Theyve been waiting for parts since they got it and wont tell me what happened. They are rough to get ahold of.
Well, that sounds familiar.
Thanks for the analysis and discussion about variations in materials. I bought and tried it. The grill I used it on has stainless steel, round grates. On the first cleaning, I went over it twice, just to make sure it was really clean. Since that first time, I clean the grates immediately after cooking, rather than waiting until the next time I want to use it. I've been grilling, barbecuing and smoking on outdoor equipment for about 50 years. In my opinion, and this is strictly based on the cleaning of stainless steel on gas and lump charcoal systems, this product is the best I've seen at this price point.
Glad it’s working out for you 👍🏽
Great video quick question about summiting photo of engraving. Do you send just the one you engraved or all the marking on the sbr? Thank you
I didn't even know that was a thing to do!
I just hang my out in the sun
Does that get rid of the stains?
Will FRT-15 work in this
You should ask the manufacturer.
I’m doing my burn in right now on the Weber Spirit EX315. I did not pre clean the grates and flavorizer bars. At the max setting it’s about 600 degrees. I’m going to do an hour and a half burn in. Tomorrow I’ll hit the grates with soap and water. Do you think that’s sufficient to get rid of the manufacturing oils and chemicals?
Considering that that is basically what I said to do in the video, just in a different order, it’s probably sufficient.
I noticed a waxy like substance on the inner edge of the top lid where it meets the firebox after the burn in. It cleaned up with alcohol. Did you notice anything like that?
I did not, but I didn’t look around the firebox that closely.
Wish I had watched this before I bought one....I'm literally in the certification phase of approval. This is disappointing and worrying.
Never know, your experience may be better 👍🏽
Damn nightmare scenario bro. I’ve only had an issue with one company, bought an FN FiveSeven that would chew up the magazine release notches on the polymer mags. Within 1 week all 3 supplied mags wouldn’t lock in the pistol. The process of getting it in for repairs was a breeze, but they sent it back with the same issue. All 3 new mags got tore up pretty quickly. Sent it in again, and came back just the same. I ended up selling it to a friend at a loss but he never got it running. My guess is the frame was warped or something.
I just hope they improve as a company!
Looks like your top ring is upside down. That's probably why you aren't seeing the secondary burn.
It was down in the video but I’ve tried it the normal way many times since and got basically the same results.
nice vlog idol it's my dream watch....
Hope you can get it soon 👍🏽
2:58 if you switch the camera to manual focus, the AF screw drive retracts so you can manually focus
That's interesting! Didn't know that!
So is the number your supposed to get engraved the permit/control number? Also my name and city I live in? They gave me zero directions on what to do on approval.
This is from a Google search: "SBR marking: This marking must include the following information: • Name of the trust and the city and state where the SBR is made •.Individual's name and the city and state"
Thanks for sharing your experiences with Dead Air. I am looking to buy my 4th can, and was looking at the Wolfman. I found this video, and when I continued to research it, I actually found numerous other reviews, all with the same message. (Their products are hit-or-miss on form/function, and if you happen to get a unit with issues, you are in for a world of delays and poor service) The consistent part of all videos is their lack of contact with their customers. As NFA item buyers, we are used to playing the waiting game, but a couple of simple 2-minute emails to keep the customer updated on the progress of their status would circumvent the majority of bad review issues this company is having currently. For the reasons you pointed out, I have opted to not purchase any Dead Air product, unless/until the company can undergo a change in culture. I am now looking at a Bowers Vers 30 as an alternative can. - I do not personally know anyone that has one, to get their opinion on it, but I can tell you I emailed the company once with a question, and the owner exchanged about 3 emails with me over a 2 day period. I could tell he had a great amount of passion for his products, and he was very quick and helpful. This tends to be a step-up as someone is in the research phase for a reliable product. The one can I really want to try is the CGS Hyperion, but like all good cans, there are none to be found available - I called CGS, and they said if I placed an order now, it would be about 3 months before they would have a serial number to ship one to my dealer. I am glad for their financial success from them having the backlog of orders, but for the customers, it sucks! 😂
Hope you get something you’re happy with 👍🏽
How much was the price you paid before the discount? Right now they are selling for $219
It was years ago on an account I no longer have access to so can’t check to verify.
I currently have this issue. I don't want to take it to the dealership because I am Femto unlocked on MHD+. If they update my firmware there goes $2000 down the drain. I wish there was a way to reset the system without the dealer.
You can always ask them about the process and let them know not to update the firmware if that’s possible. See your options.
Great video! Should you have the esp on auto all the time so the app can sync and work?
I keep the controller on Auto when I want access to the module.
You can use both methods. Use the extractor to start and get most of the oil out. Then pull the plug also and get out the rest. This way, oil does not gush out and get all over your hands and arms.
Whatever works 👍🏽
I bought the m4 2024 version and they updated the machine and fixed few problems, I'm loving it 🎉
Good to hear!
Maybe I can shed a little light on this situation. I'm not making excuses for DA nor am I saying this kind of thing is acceptable. I'm not even saying this is the exact reason for their poor CS. But I happen to work for a firearms related manufacturer who despite being relatively well known has (up until the beginning of this year) had the same customer service issues you're describing. The damage was done by C19 and we never fully recovered. We even now are struggling to find people to fill openings. They either bail before their first shift starts or they ghost the interview all together. And if they do actually take the job, they end up getting fired for not doing their job. I'm one of the CNC machinists at the company and I'm quite frequently running 5 machines (or more) plus doing quality control, machine maintenance, and both de-burring and sand blasting of freshly made parts. The only positive thing in this situation is my overtime has been through the roof. As a result of being short staffed, our customer service was extremely lacking, and we often had the issues you were describing in this video. Not because we didn't care but because we had to split customer service up among our shop or assembly managers, who already have their hands full with their primary duties. Again I'm not making excuses for Dead Air, but assuming their customer service was good prior to c19, I can see a possible reason why it's struggling now.
No matter the reason, let's just hope things get better!
Wow this is one of the worst customer service / warranty experiences ive heard of.
Imagine being the person having to deal with it!
I accidentally skipped burn in and just cleaned the grates and seasoned it... do I need to do anything now?
If you’ve already used the grill, there really isn’t any going back. But if you haven’t, you can always repeat everything if you’re really concerned. Also, you somewhat burn in every time you turn the grill on. The higher temps is just more effective.
Thanks for sharing. Very useful information
Glad it was helpful!
It’s made to cover something up not really secure from someone stealing. It’ll basically keep the sun and rain off of it.
G can be auto focus on my nikkon z6 ,D can not!
Whatever works 👍🏽
Who really cares about noise? It is cheaper and you never have to worry about a motor failing.
