Inaccurate. Sony makes smaller FF cameras with no controls, for industrial use
“For beginners“!😆😆😆
Got this one too. Came with a charger, extra battery, strap and lens which costed me €140 early last year. Takes pretty sharp pictures. Is satisfied with my purchase.

I had an ep1 w/ a 20mm f1.7 loved it. But i fell in love with the XE1 and gave the olympus to a youtuber
Dude, that's enough, calm down. Be creative, start creating real content. Stop hyping up old cameras from eBay
I picked up the E-PM1 and then 3 weeks later got the E-PM2 for even less. However on both the IS has failed, I think it worked for a day or so on the E-PM1 - this is very common, if yours hasn't failed yet due to age, it probably will. However as a cheap discreet street camera with that 20mm or the 14mm Panasonic lens, these cameras are fun to use as long as with no IS, you avoid low light :-) The 16Mb E-PM2 sensor is 'better' yet for me, I get more character from the E-PM1.
Discreet? The shutter is loud af.
Paired with lens for 300 EUR :)
I have the E-PM2. The 16 MP sensor has a much better SNR compared with this 12 MP model. It's really like a mini E-M5. The problem though, is that after all these years, its rear thumb grip has disintegrated and the shutter can't always open.
Wish you mentioned it wasn’t full frame at the beginning
yonguno 85mm is also a better option. At 1.8 the image sharpness is awesome.
wish it was full frame.
Wrist strap link please?
Love my E-PM2! There is something about the images (just JPEG, I don't often shoot RAW) that feel very dense and lush. I also accidentally bought one that mirrored the design and colourway of my older E-PL1. They're proper relatives :D
Is that 80 bucks just for the camera, or with the lens included?
Love micro 4/3. All their mounts are compatible with each other so you can share your lenses with all the bodies.
It makes no sense that a camera company would sell you a kit lens that would make their camera seem crappy.
Kit lenses are great unless you're looking for something specific. Kit lenses are usually discounted and fairly compact, which is nice when you first get a camera.
I hope you get the chance to test out the Olympus Stylus 1. It’s amazing!! ❤️
Stamford?
And nowwwwww it’ll cost $500
Quando mi sono comprata la Lumix Gm1 volevo venderla ma ho deciso di tenerla solo per gli scatti in bianco nero e per le doppie esposizioni.
How does the Panasonic 20mm perform on Olympus bodies? I've read that the auto focus is really slow. I have an E-P7, and this would be a nice in between for my current 14mm and 30mm Macro.
it's 2k$ tho... think I am keeping my 20$ digicam from 2005
More functional than a Leica
I looked at these but bought a Sony NEX-6 instead.
Got an e-pm2 recently. Doesn’t cost much more but a far better camera overall. 16mp sensor with much better high iso and dynamic range, and has a touch screen and an extra FN button. Paid $150 with a kit lens, not too shabby.
Love these little cameras had the pm1 now have the pm2 which has touch screen and slightly more megapixels There are so many quirky lenses that can be attached to give great character to images
Review eos m
i think next-5 or 5n would be a far better choice for a little more extra money
NEX-5 lacking Ibis. Sony e mount lack pancake lens choices, only decent one is 20mm f2.8
But we can't afford any thanks to these steal videos
I absolutely love my ZF, however there are 2 things that irritate me about it. Firstly, as mentioned you really do need the grip if you're using heavier lenses. I opted for the S lenses as I would prefer image quality over portability if firced to choose, and without the grip, it makes the camera very difficult to handle. This is fine, however when you put the grip on, removing the SD card is incredibly difficult. The card pops out a little when you press down on it, but the grip gets in the way making it hard to get hold of the card and remove it. The second issue is Nikon's decision to software lock 3rd party batteries. I tried to save some money buying some reputable 3rd party ones (not cheap off brand, these were warrentied and very well respected), but they simply don't work with it, so you need to stick with Nikon batteries only. So long as you don't mind those little irritations, it's a lovely thing to use. The 24-70 S lens available as part of some of the kits is really superb, as is the 50mm f1.8. So long as you temper your expectation - this isn't a film camera, in spite of its retro inspired styling, then it's basically a hybrid of a Z6ii and a Z8, which is more focussed on stills, but will work nicely for a casual video shooter. It's definitely not for everyone. If you're doing a lot of video work, I'd recommend looking at a Z8, but as somebody who shoots on old nikon film bodies, I found it very familiar in the right ways, but with nicely implemented modern elements which make it a genuinely satisfying camera to use.
I’ve got an old EPL3 in gloss white with the same lens. Some of my cap photos I’ve captured was with this. I’ve put on a diy vinyl wrap to make it look like a classic PEN and also helps with the slipperiness
You’ll never find by 80$
Ну хз я купил неделю назад абышто, видео мылит роллершаттер ужасный
No hand-grip = no stable hold Low price as the only pros
You could get a grip for it, but it feels like that defeats the purpose of it being small. I found a wrist strap was all I needed.
@@TomCalton Right, wrist strap and you won't drop it accidentally. But they may add grip only as long as pancake kit lens in my opinion
Pentax Q entered the chatroom.
A Pentax Q is top of my shopping list! 😁
Pentax q is the smallest mirrorless camera.
Stop it man 😢
Nah
You really don't have to keep going in the menus. There are 2 quick menu styles available with the most used settings available.
Go to the Display settings/ Control Settings / PASM....Turn SCP (Super Control Panel) On. I personally turn Live Control off but to each their own. I use the Super Control Panel for all my Olympus Cameras. It makes it a lot simpler and easier to use.
I forgot to mention that if both are on you need to press the "info" button to toggle between the two menu styles whilst in the quick menu.
Is it a metal body?
Yeah, it does. Sorry, I should have mentioned this. It feels super solid in the hand and not cheap at all
Not sure why you'd need a mirror when you're seeing on the screen exactly what's going to end up in the photograph.
Stop raising used camera prices😂
You do realise that's not how this works, right?
I love my E-PM1 - it has a lot in common with the design of the XZ-1 as well. I have both in white, and if it weren't for the lens on the XZ-1, I could easily grab the wrong one from the shelf. The 20mm f1,7 Lumix lens is a great fit on the Mini, though I have been tempted to pick up the 17mm f2.8 Olympus lens or the 14mm f2.5 Lumix lens as they are both even more compact. Several moths ago, I picked up the Olympus E-PL1 as well, and even though it's older, slightly bigger, with less ISO range and only goes to 1/2000, I prefer it over the Mini - especially for black and white photography. But since then I got my hands on a Sony NEX 5n including lenses at a real bargain price - a very small camera for such a big sensor... Let's just say, the A 5100 and the NEX 6 have followed since then as well as the Carl Zeiss 32mm f1.8 Planar T* Touit lens and I already had an M42 to NEX lens adapter, that was sent to me by mistake several years ago (the store didn't want it returned), thus my M42 lenses have found new use too, so my Olympus Pen cameras don't see as much action at the moment as they used to.
I didn't like this camera. Shutter sound is very loud and clunky, and the ibis on old pens are prone to failure. Photos do have that nostalgic look, but only at 12mp
bro try samsung nx100 ... that's something cheap, mirrorless, wifi, apsc, and amazing results. ( I bought it for my wife and I personally enjoyed it a lot )
Hi Tom, you have a black 20mm f1.7 on a silver body. I have a great condition silver one that I use on mostly black cameras. I live in Stamford too. Wanna swap lenses?
Thanks for the offer but I actually use this lens on various M43 cameras, most of which are black, so I'll stick with what I have for now 😁
Sound. Looks kind of goofy on mine. I've got a decent selection of M43 lenses if you ever need to borrow some for review. My 200mm Leica would be pretty interesting on your GM1.
E-PM1 is one of the best camera that I ever have, and, I am still keeping it. Love it!
Do you use it a lot?
@@TomCalton Not really. I have dozen of M43 camera. I use Panasonic GX95 as the main camera for photo, and DJI OP3 for video.
