  I think the disappointing part about this iteration is that a version that both combines the original and 2003 version of this character would work as a distinctive reminder that she is a mentally ill 15 year old. A malignant person, who at the end of the day is lost and confused. She hates and does not know why. Her sexual relationship with Slade also opens the door to a deeper interpretation of the character and the dynamic of that relationship. Tara can be a sympathetic character without being a good or reasonable person. It all depends on her framing on how they can develop these details and make a complex character.

  I never liked the comic. Never saw the appeal of the story. The 2003 show was done much better.

  I was hoping at the end of the film, He would move on by dating other women. Maybe he sees ruby being happy in the distance, but he lets her be. That would have been a good ending cuz he respects her independence and he doesn't want to endanger it again. Him meeting ruby again and her not remembering him felt bittersweet imo. Even if she said "let's start over."

  It's funny to me how Terra in Teen Titans Go! is more similar to the original comics than the Teen Titans show. IMO, it does also represent hiw the original is not necessarily the best.

  Heroes was so good but its sad it a downturn in quality after the strike. Well at least we struck gold with the next breaking bad seasons, supernatural season 5 was also so good. All happened after the strike halted one of their seasons

  S1 was great. I think his original idea of having new characters each season was probably best. I just don't recall any other show that just consistently went downhill each season. And how it ever got brought back with Heroes Reborn, I'll never understand.

  your video made it to my playlist of top tier youtube videos. the writing and speech is superb. i love your simple yet captivating editing and little funny moments. you make good points and actually tried to look for good moments in halo 5. your reasoning is sound and the intro was good to, well, introduce the topic. i loved it. "at least noble team did..." what an ending. i dont think you'll read this, or anyone else for that matter, but i just had to write it out.

  7:47 my favorite bit of body language in this cutscene is that when Kat is shot, Jun FLINCHES. pay attention to the left side of the screen, you'll see it. This game is SO well animated, its insane. Also, IMO, Halo 4 doesnt get enough credit. It's really well animated too, and does look very nice overall, different art style aside

  I often have to remind myself that every small detail was deliberately added to the game. They sat down and went through every charcter in a scene and layed out everything they were going to do. And to this day, still find new details in the cutscenes.

  History lesson time for Marvel fans. Kunte Kunte was a slave in 'Roots' who's foot was amputated for his escape attempt. Known for being lashed across his back while his name was called into question. So...when u see Spiderman's suit tearing, (LASH MARKS) while he appears bound to the ELEVATED train (tied up/UNDERGROUND railroad) after attempting to stop it with his foot (hobbled by wooden block), keep THIS in-mind, Kunte Kinte's slave name was... TOBEY. Here endeth the lesson.

  I think the chances of people getting an adaptation almost completely faithful to the original story is pretty hard since most people are familiar the Teen Titans 2003 show take on it. Even YJ redeemed Terra and turned her heroic brother into an influenced and manipulated antagonist.

  I liked the movie but it def could have been at least thirty minutes longer some thigns felt rushed while other plots didn't feel needed. im not bothered by it but it feels lazy they didnt give us the raven/terra fight and all icould think of was well guess they knew they couldn't beat what the 2000s show gave us

  Another subtle detail a lot of people miss in the intro cutscene of The Package, just after Kat's death, is the small pause and the melancholy tone of Carter's voice: Colonel Holland: "Noble 1, this is Noble Actual...Noble 1?" Carter: "Go ahead." Colonel Holland: "We need that base taken out, son." Before this dialogue, Carter was always steadfast and swift in his responses to his superiors. Here, however, he seems to almost slip up, seemingly lost in his own thoughts. It's to the point where Holland has to address Carter TWICE. And when Carter does talk, he sounds both tired and defeated. Furthermore, in the subsequent dialogue, we see him attempt to reinstate his usual stoic attitude as he directs Noble 6 and the ODST troops. Despite this, it actually comes across as being somewhat forced. During his dialogue with Holland, we actually see some affection come from Holland as he calls Carter "son".   The main strength of Kotor 2 is character writing and ability to roleplay any kind of Exile you want. Kreia's philosophy is interesting, but i think a lot of her stance towards the force comes not from the inside the world, but from the meta perspective of the observer. In the Star Wars universe force would be just another, well, force, a natural phenomenon constantly moving certain equilibrium. It's like someone taking a philosophic stance and trying to destroy thermodynamics into our world. Makes sense from meta point of view, but a bit silly if you immerse yourself into Star Wars world.
