  As well as being an enduringly funny sketch, I think this illustrates the importance of positive versus negative language when teaching/disciplining a child. For example, “Use your words/use I statements” instead of “Don’t throw a tantrum.” Kids will remember what you say, so tell what they _can_ do instead of what they _can’t_ do. Years down the line I know what happens if you take cough syrup, mix it up with iodine and lye…
