    How long is the battery life please.

  • @CarrsCaravan
    @CarrsCaravan Жыл бұрын

    Hi Beth. I would say about 30 mins at most on constant use. It really depends on how you're using it. I would recommend having a second rechargeable battery on stand by. Since the video, there has been a newer version released, whether the new version will have a better battery life, I couldn't answer. As for using on patio slabs, you could do and they used to advertise that you could use this product to do that, but to be honest, I wouldn't. It's not a pressure washer and would be quite a long and laborious task with the Hydroshot. I would be looking for something bigger, mains powered and with a constant water supply. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching - Dan

I need another holiday to get over getting it out again.... We stayed last time over on Fen Park on F12 next to friends and this little circular area was fantastic. Hi Dan, considering moving to a pickup for caravaning, how do you rate the L200 compared to say the Navara ? I would be running it purely as a private car towing my caravan. Thanks T

  • @CarrsCaravan
    @CarrsCaravan Жыл бұрын

    Hi Tom. I’ve been very happy with the L200. It’s great value for money given the specs on the Barbarian X. The engine is a little on the small side compared to it’s counterparts, but i think this is to do with emissions. On that subject, it does meet the low emission targets set by London and other cities, so I haven’t had to pay anything when towing or driving in them. The only negative I have about the series 6 is satnav isn’t fitted and it’s not an option. You have to use your mobile device. I have had a couple of little niggles with the interior lights failing and the touch pad on the rear canopy failing. These were both fixed and replaced under warranty and I couldn’t fault my local dealer. However, it’s worth noting that Mitsubishi have now left the UK and whilst their are still dealers that will look after the servicing and warranty issues, it does concern me that potentially this could become an issue. Mitsubishi say they will still supply spares in to the UK for the foreseeable future as the L200 is still in production under the triton name. I think if your considering pickup, a canopy for the rear bed is worth considering. I find the extra height/space useful especially if taking a lot away with us and can’t carry in caravan. My previous pickup I just had a rear bed cover, but I did find it very restrictive. Overall it’s been a good tow vehicle and I’ve been happy with it during my ownership. I hope that helps. Also check out Caravan Chitchat as they have a Ford Ranger and vlog about it and it may give you some other ideas.

    No, not on this latest model. It was a bit of a step back as it came as standard in the previous model but wasn’t even an optional extra this time as they decided that most people would use the apple play//Android Auto. Don’t think it was the right call personally, but I have been using my iPhone and TomTom mobile app via apple play and it works well.

    Hi Chrissey. Thank you for your kind comments. We love our awning and friends recently purchased as well as they’ve always liked sitting in ours, the colour and the single point inflation. The Caravan & Motorhome Club sites are renowned for their almost souls defeating and strength zapping hard standing and this was the first time out with the awning when we filmed this. Since then, we have tried many pegs and it’s certainly worth having different types for every eventuality. Rock pegs and a good sturdy heavy mallet are a must for most club sites with hard standing. We also us the drill pegs as well and if the ground isn’t too hard, they are brilliant, easy and quick to use especially if you’re carrying a drill to wind up and down the caravan feet. Thank you so much for watching and many happy travels and time in the awning. PS the fly screens are brilliant. We love to have the panels folded down and screens in.

    @CarrsCaravan3 жыл бұрын

    Hi Vicki. The table is the Kampa Element Large. It doesn’t seem to be on their website any more but a quick search on the internet still shows many independent stockists still have them. The only thing I would say to remember is as the top doesn’t fold down/in half, you have to have somewhere to store it. Ours fits under our island bed, but it’s always worth having a measure as struts and supports can get in the way under the bed. We really like the adjustable legs on this table which helps to always make sure it’s level and at the perfect height to use and eat off of. Thanks for watching and any more questions, please feel free to ask. Dan.

    If I remember correctly the CC2 is promoted as suitable for 6 people, so I would think the next range down would be fine for two. For me it was also about the height of the BBQ and being 6'4" I wanted to be comfortable leaning over it. Well worth going to have a look when you can as I also found all the different combinations overwhelming and so seeing them in person helped me to decide. It's worth searching online once you've decided as there was some good prices to be had and occasionally a sale offer or two popped up on certain combo's.

    Hi Adam The official stats say 29.1 for automatic and I would say i'm getting around 25 mpg in 2WD. Haven't really driven any distance in 4WD to get a comparison, so can't give you any figures on that yet. Most of my driving over the last year has been pottering, so figures might be slightly better if I'd have had the chance to really get out and about. It might also be worth taking in to consideration Mitsubishi are leaving the UK. I'm not too worried as an owner, but you may want to factor that in to your buying process. Thanks for watching.
