i believed the early reviews too, after trying the iem for a 10 min sitting i dont think its anything worth making a review about, there are better iems for not much more, i would just save my money, this feels cheap, looks cheap and sound ok for the price but its wont beat anything from the 20 dollar iems (that are not from kz)

It was HBB who said it was brilliant, how can the impression be so different? Both have human ears. Must be variance. A layer of hiss? There is something wrong with your set. I tend to bieve hbb on this, I have a bunch of his sets. He is competent.

ZEX, seems like people either hate or love it. I love it. Still in 2024! I expected to hate it but here I am. I also feel a Delci is overhyped. Returning mine. EDX PRO X and EDX LITE are just as good. EDx PRO X sounds exactly like my T10. Kz had some good stuff and some cr ap too. Edc Pro sounds like there may be qc issues.

@@Lucas_Stradeus Funny that mentioned it becuase as I'm listening to T10 on my amp as I read this and you're probably right 😜 I had driven it with an amp originally, but lately was driving it w/o it on LG phone with Quad dac. Took some advice to use Tri Clarion Tips and hooked up my amp on high gain. Listened to some classic rock for the first time in awhile. I gotta say the T10 with that setup on high gain is next level. I'll retest test VS EDX Pro X when my brother returns it. He's blown away with it as well. He only has Waner, DFi and Hola to compare it to, but hitting a grand slam against those. Not too bad for a $3 set that everyone is ignoring. That being said, if it keeps up with the amped T10 I will go into shock. I'll make sure to update. For those people who don't have an amp or good dac, the EDX is an amazing set. If T10 had a dedicated subBASS driver, it literally would be perfection. I listening to rap and hip hop right now and while it's freaking amazing, the sub bass isn't quite there. I'm a basshead so maybe most people won't notice. Anyway, it's so detailed and layered that I don't miss the extra rumble . When I want that, I've got plenty of other sets 😁

Haha maybe there is something wrong with my ears, i like the EDC PRO , I’m actually sell all my cheap iems like the EW200, Zero2, OG Zero, Waner and keep the EDC PRO, this is the only cheap set i have now, still a very good review tho, one of the most important thing about this hobby is we don’t have to agree on everything, we should just enjoy what we like .

Your ears are fine. I love ZEX which he hates. Everything is subjective and we all have different ear anatomy and preferences. Plus chifi has notorious QC issues, my D-Fi was horrible while ZVX is great. They should sound similar, def got a bunk set. Paul Wasabi likes this set and he's not one to hype. I'm skipping it since KZ EDX Lite has same graph and it's great, practically Delci. Paid $1.79, using SGOR Adonis (incredibly great, cheap1/1) cable. Returning Delci tomorrow.

Ironically, my S08 arrived just today. The fit took me a while to get right. The stock tips were the only ones that worked for me. It's nice to have a mellow and warm planar. The rest of my planar IEMs are all pretty much neutral brightish. I find it funny that people are complaining that these are too warm in the treble. Every other planar IEM on the market has a neutral to bright-ish treble. More tuning options in more price brackets is a healthy thing for the hobby.

Ironically, my S08 arrived just today. The fit took me a while to get right. The stock tips were the only ones that worked for me. It's nice to have a mellow and warm planar. The rest of my planar IEMs are all pretty much neutral brightish. I find it funny that people are complaining that these are too warm in the treble. Every other planar IEM on the market has a neutral to bright-ish treble. More tuning options in more price brackets is a healthy thing for the hobby.
It's a solid nice tuning that is different, I like it.
