Well since Dusty and them work yiu can film Chad 😂
You should tell your brother that your store has bigger sized shirts.
😂😂 everyone had a size they’re most comfortable in. Tight or loose, it’s all personal preference.
Chad, it is totally amazing you get anything done at your shop, with all the help you give to Matt, Paul, and Robby, along with half the state of Utah. You are one good man, God Bless
why not lower the exhaust down so you have more width for a full size winch.
Check out the new Griz shirts and sticker at chadsfab.com Along with all the other great Chad's Fab merchandise..
go go grizzila
The tailgate story happened to me as well. My mom stopped by to borrow my truck while i was at work. Unhooked the gooseneck, didn't drop the tailgate, and drove off.
😔 bet she felt awful. And the sound/jolt when that gooseneck hits the tailgate 🥴😵💫
Congrats on the success!!🏁
Would love to get a shirt if it were 100% polyester. Can't do cotton. Too hot!!
Sadly we don’t have anytime 100% polyester yet
use a Piece of waterhose so it don´t break again
Build a top shelf for the Badlands winch and make a small box where you were going to mount it for shackles and pulleys! Eddie
FYI- I have one of those Harbor Freight ZXR 9500 winches on my truck and it's right around 21 inches long. plus it's a bit lower profile
Hey chat and family...I was looking at the latest video and was thinking about back mud guards maybe some of those extruded plastic like what's on most semi's as far as know they make also in singles....keep up the great work guys and be safe.😊
8274 on the side. ;-)
Nice thoughtful fab on the Griz. Always great to see fam working in harmony.
Love the exhaust, and you will probably hear less in the cab with the bed floor in. As usual, I completely enjoy your videos
That exhaust is going to melt either winch or rope. Puzzled about choice of mounting it there. 🤔🤔🤔✌️
You want to make real sure all that sand is out and you could have used an old t shirt at sand hallow. 👍✌️
Love this channel
Couldn’t you get new ones and Weather them to match?
This is probably an old video but I'll say it anyways hang the winch upside down from the plate that you're going to put on the deck then you'll have enough room to put it in there because the top of the Badlands winch is shorter it's all in the middle and the rest of the winch is wider because of the roll
Chad and family thank you for fixing the AC in my daughter car today! It's her birthday tomorrow also and she is really excited to not have to go out to celebrate without AC! You guys are great 👍 I'm glad she is close to an honest and capable auto repair shop! Keep up the great work 🇺🇸
To resolve so of the heat problems with the exhaust. Build some ducting which directs air onto the exhaust pipe, same way as Super cars direct air away from the wheel cavities. Or put a larger pipe around the exhaust pipe and insulate between the pipes.
Chad thanks for the, if you can't control your thoughts, you will never be able to control your reaction. That's true words. Thanks for helping me to be a better person. Cheers Cape Town 🇿🇦🇺🇲🇺🇲🙏
I’m also still dealing with sand from our days at the Off Road Games. That wind was no joke! Griz is looking as tough as ever! Love that beast!
Why not the exhaust above the roof. That prevents water from getting into the engine!
Grizila looks awesome! That body style gets me every time! I wanna cry knowing I sold my '69 back in the day and even sadder I sold a '72 that I had about 2 years ago to a youngin that was "supposed" to be dong a rebuild project with his dad to find out later he sold it shortly after. Oh well, guess I'll never learn. Thank you for sharing and hope all have a blessed week.
Warn WINCH 9.0RC 12V SD HAWSE, 19 in. Width
Just so you know, I just saw where I wasn't subscribed any more. I was, and I sure didn't unsubscribe, so, but I am back, not the first time this has happened!
Thank you Chad and crew for the update on the Griz ! It's coming long very well and looking awesome !
You make great music choices in your videos. Nice vid.😊
i love that this show is a family affair and why is your shop cleaner than matts fabs rats and robbies and trail maters
👍
Do you guys do towing? Griz is awesome! It needs to get out and do some recoveries! Not to be contentious but I think Chad's saying at the end is the first one I disagree with. I control my actions pretty dang good but I have thoughts in my head I can't control. I often wonder where those thoughts come from.
It could be Grizi LA 😂
You can barley hear the Swamp Cooler. it's ok ! Good video . Lots of improvements ! Thanks for sharing !
You're making an old school appearance wrecker but you're not utilizing the most important part of the build and that is the bed skin over all the exoskeleton. Put the aluminum steps in below the winches above the sliders, cut in the wheel openings, tool box doors and the factory bed tail lights along with a pair of the chrome plated rectangular tie down rails on the top of the bed box. You can't get a better looking wrecker than a full fender wrecker. Shame you don't incorporate rear outriggers for side pulling.
My vote is to move the exhaust to the rear of the wheel giving you more room for the 23 inch badland wench, it will also lessen the cab noise
Looks nice, but won't the exhaust cook the winch?
Enjoy your vids, missed it last week when one wasn’t posted.
Why Do Anything Today, When You Can Blow It Off For Tomorrow! "I said, Tomorrow, This Is Only Today"!
Chad, you are so fortunate to be able to keep vehicles for 20 years or more. In Upstate NY the winter salt just laughs at us and starts eating away at the body and frame😂
Put the winch on top of the
Now you have to bring on the new T-shirts with the new name on them.
You have to add some black and orange to that boom. Since the new plates ( Which I love the new name) are black.
One thing to say…Safety glasses
Thats good plinking , well done
Chad, as far as I know you should be abe to kit a kit to move the winch motor to the top of the winch housing and some winches are built that way from the outset. Without the motor to the side of the winch drum you will be better able to place your side winches. I'm in the UK and I think a company called Gigglepin makes kits for Warn winches - have a look for inspiration and then find something closer to home.
This 77 year old doesn't get along with smart phones very well, either. I-pads are worse though for me. Are you going to move the side marker lights farther forward? That way you wont have to notch the square tubing for the lights.
Great job guys. Thank you 😊
