    You guys should be proud that everyone's epic project would not work without the expertise of your team. Robby, Matt and Fab Rats wouldn't be the same without you.

    Robby's team should have seen and cleaned that radiator when they worked on the front end before they replaced the grille. That is not an electrical/wiring job for Chad. That is why I keep voting for Chad & Fab Rats coz they really know what thay are doing.

    As an old guy EE (40 yrs) who has worked in a bunch of industries including Military and Commercial Aviation and has had the honor of working with some of the best (IMHO) technicians in the country, you guys do FANTASTIC work!!! You guys take tremendous pride in your work and it shows, I would put your work up with the best that I have worked with and you would at least tie! It is wonderful to watch a team that takes real pride in their work! Thanks for sharing!

    To prevent the arcing you use a resister to charge the inverter then you can safely connect it without sparks 12V system = 7Ω resistor (50W) 24V system = 15Ω resistor (100W) 48V system = 30Ω resistor (200W)

    Chad. You & I have the same thing in common. Everybody comes to You for Electrical Work just like with Me. I get the exact same thing too. Only difference is Yours is more Automotive & Mine is More House Wiring but also with older vehicles. That's where Your 1 step ahead of Me with all this new High Tech Stuff!! I get totally lost as just like My former Boss said to Me..."If I put You back in the shop, You would be totally lost" and He is right. Same thou goes for the older stuff for the New So Called Tech's. What ever happened to the "NEVER ASSUME" with everything now by codes? In any case, Remember this, "The best advertising done always is though word of mouth."

    Battleborn batteries are top notch! Lithium iron phosphate which is lighter and far more duty cycles than the flooded acid batteries. Definitely the wave of the future! They warranty their batteries for 20 years I believe! I use them on my vintage camper restorations when the customers want me to build solar systems. It's always important to do the math for the cable sizes. Not the time for guesswork.

    The difference or use of words. Cable 3a : an assembly of electrical conductors insulated from each other but laid up together (as by being twisted around a central core) Wire 5 a : a line of wire for conducting electric current

  • @johnbize5736

    @johnbize5736

    20 күн бұрын

    Correct: "While the terms wire and cable are often used interchangeably, technically a wire is one electrical conductor and a cable is multiple conductors, or a group of wires, encased in sheathing." (from Home Depot) So... Once the multiple wires are bundled together in the sheathing, they become a cable.

    G'day from Australia... Good to see you using an excellent piece of Australian made gear (ie: the "black box" as you called it). It's a Redarc Manager 30 by the looks of it. The small black box near the floor that the battery neg cable goes to, is known here as a "shunt". It measures current in/out and provides info, including battery SOC (percentage State Of Charge). For those who don't know, the voltage of a LiFePO4 battery is virtually useless to keep track of. It's a bit like your mobile phone battery....you never need to know the voltage...just the percentage of the charge. Love the channel.
