Yeah, I got an 88 GMC suburban with a 700 R4. Transmission in it. It's got about 307000 miles on it. And unfortunately, my tranny is starting to slip, so it's about time to get a little TLC for her.....
I like your videos, after watching them im gonna try and strip mine, its a AudiA4 2.4 v6 B5,got an oil lead near the diff side on the box, wish u had a video of stripping that box, keep up the good work sir 👍
I wish I could be there it's like mechanics holiday lovely gooie oils and smells delighful
I'm just watching because I like watching stuff like this.
Love this keep up the good work
Oh man that burnt fluid smell would send me straight to the hospital.
worst transmission ever made.

Great vid. Blue socks crocs and cicadas is the icing on the cake.
I remember these transmissions having some kind of plastic/Teflon parts/washers in them. Not exactly confidence-inspiring. You should have seen the warranty claims and TSBs.
I don't know if there's enough words in the English language to describe how much I hate the 68. Severely under built transmission for its intended application.

People who know how to work on transmissions are proof that aliens exist.
It looks like a maze 😮 crazy who thought of that first...
How much for a 2013 ram 1500 4.7 2wd transmission rebuild
great info
Damb lots of work 😚
👍👍👍
Like to see the full video ❤
Click the link above description! It’s there 😎
Dude! You constantly post videos of 700R4/4L60 trans and you don't know how to decode? Your trans here is an 82 because following the "9" is a TWO letter model number. If it was an 89, the "9" would be followed by a 3 letter model number.
Why not wash it in the garage
Is the 2004r better than this one 700r4 valve body is bigger on the 200?...
Cody pretty sure we can hear you breathing towards the end of the video. Keep up the hard work guys 🤘🏻👏🏻🤑
I just rebuilt my TH350 last weekend using mostly your videos, found out my case was cracked right below the accumulator cover, found a core for $100 and swapped everything over. Drove car last night around the block and it shifted flawlessly
@@bigb3576 woooo that’s what I’m talking about!
Lets go! Loving the content!
Core charge on a 6l90e is $1000 so I imagine that’s well worth it. Was I cooked?
That core is worth over $300
Where's the core?
If its American made...you wasted your time....😂
turbo 350 350 bucks
50$ should be just a core anyway, but if don't have to totally re build it that's a win
I like your videos a lot! Do you ever work on 2004R trans? I have a 87 Buick GN that someone in there infinite wisdom swapped out the stock BRF with a slush box from a 307 cutlass. I want to do a performance build on it but I’m not super familiar with automatic transmissions.
@@brianbaroo7706 we do 2004r just haven’t been able to get any content yet they are getting rare
🫵🏽🔥🔥
Better when you supplement it with a reverse dipole flow valve. Increases the harmonic frequency repeat.
Great content! Awesome 👍
4l60e could be the biggest pile ever, well just behind a 700r4 and just ahead of an AOD....
Bruv talks straight out of his ass😂 lost credibility at the 700r4
My first ever rebuild was a 4L60. Most rewarding job ive ever done lol
Why am i slightly aroused now?
Can I put a 2wd 4l60e in my awd trailblazer ss . I just need it to drive again and I drive it like a old woman
Theoretically
Theoretically yes but I won’t say yes and you’ll also have to figure something out with the drive shaft because you’ll be eliminating the transfercase
Good on you for learning something in this day and age. Not a 100% throw away society. Nice to see stuff like this being repaired. Best of luck with your channel
Commenting before the video but just wanted to let yall know, I took ur advice about doing something on the side to learn. U mentioned your about making money so transmissions, lawn equipment, whatever! I did the same and got a cheap lawn mower that was "broken," fixed it up with some research and also gave it a tune up. Funny enough, just needed a carb cleaning and valve adjustments, thing ran like new. Sold it and netted 340 bucks profit! I credit u guys and the hustle. Much respect from me to yall cuz when my 45 hrs a week are over i just tinker around the house and yard. Im about the money too so thanks guys! Now for an awesome rebuild video!
@@Chilly-uq2zl this is G! This is exactly what I’m trying to instill in the younger generation. We will be making videos on mowers and engines soon, along with buying, fixing, and selling cars, mowers, etc. big things coming to the channel, I am stoked for you bro, happy we could help, Good job 👏 keep grinding! -Tyler
This has become one of my new favorite channels. Great resource for anyone trying to build one of these things. Keep it up guys!
Thank you for your support! We are happy to have you 😊
Frickin amazing to see some one put all those parts back together
AWSOME WORK GUYS!
Thank you!
How are these transmissions in terms of reliability? Im looking at cateyes and debating if i should get the 5.3 with a this transmission which ive heard stories about or if i should go for the 6.0 with the 4l80e
80e hands down....
Todo en su lugar esa es la ciencia
When you make a video a lot of people are gonna look up so you have to make it simple and slow
"Catch anything besides leptospirosis?"
Love it!!!!
This channel rocks! ;)
Good stuff! This channel will go far
Definitely love them! Love them all! The tear downs and rebuilds! So, thank you, sir! May we have some more?
