Honestly, I think they will announce the 3rd land of Walt Disney Studios, which should be based on the classic "The Lion King", as well as a rethemed Space Mountain for a return "from the Earth to the Moon". Almost 100% sure. Concerning the future, and here these are rather wishes, I would like to see a dark-ride for Fantasyland (The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast or Mickey & Minnie Runaway Railway, your choice), an extension behind Space Mountain with a "little" Galaxy's Edge, and finally, why not, a dark-ride in Adventureland, a copy of "Indiana Jones Adventure".

I watched your construction video (which is as always very well done, thanks for that) and after that a construction video of Epic Universe. I know it's not a fair comparison. But we are only getting ONE large attraction with Frozen and that isn't even unique for DLP. Of course, all the parks and place making are important but it has been taking sooooo long for just one major ride and a small merry go round. Definitely won't be visiting the next five years or so. I'll be in Florida and other better European parks like Efteling or Europapark.

Indy was rough pretty much from the beginning, I hurt my ears so many times on that ride :-) Those tracks should last a lot longer. I mean, Matterhorn Bobsleds were built over 60 years ago, was indeed the first tubular steel rollercoaster ever and as far as I know, never had a complete replacements of the tracks done. I think one of the main problems is that Euro Disney SCA, the original owner of the park only did the most needed repairs, if even that, for a long time until they become almost unfixable unless everything needs to be replaced eventually. Guess what's more expensive in the long run? The Mark Twain is a prime example for this. Disneyland in Anaheim used to have the same problem during the Paul Pressler era, but they turned around now. In my opinion, the same is true for Disneyland Paris, right after when it was bought by TWDC, they started to do lots of much needed renovations and today the park looks much better than it has in a long time. I believe, there is still lots of work to be done, but hopefully, they will get around to fix the rollercoasters soon as well.

I’m hopeful they will finally announce the next expansion area during D23 for Disney Adventure World (DAW). I know all the rumours point to The Lion King area, but I really hope they continue with the original plan for a smaller Galaxy Edge. You can argue the point it would be great to have a unique IP (much needed water flume ride) in Paris to draw attendance by having the Lion King area. That said I believe Star Wars is a bigger attraction to more people subjectively, given they continue to create new content. Then there’s the rumour of a Galaxy Edge area next to Star Tours. That could potentially work, but it’s a complicated plot of land to work with due to the DLP railway and road access. It just makes more sense to have it in DAW, then all the major franchises are represented in the park; Disney, PIXAR, Marvel and Star Wars.

Great that the parks are getting some much needed TLC but had I know there was so much construction going on at the Disneyland park as well as studios, I wouldn’t have booked tickets for the summer. This seems like really poor planning and consideration towards current guest experience.

I have a trip booked for mid-September which would be my boyfriend's first ever Disney visit I'm getting worried and thinking of cancelling because I feel like he won't get the full magical experience with these walls everywhere :( It looks like a construction site! The only good thing is lower crowds and prices I guess which is why we booked in the first place

It depends on many things like, would you take a car? Which hotels are you planning to stay in? The easy math is, it would take about 7 days of visit to get your money's worth out of tickets.

I agree, but also I feel paris has been so neglected that they're having to play catch-up now. If they started building a load of new stuff, people would be saying 'but the stuff we already have is crumbling!' so I do think it's fair to tidy up what's there first

We came back last Friday, spending 6 days at DLP. It was quite a sight with all the bordered up areas and it’s exciting to see so much activity going on. One thing that I wish they had was more Star Wars merch for men. There was one spirit jersey but every shop had it in XXL only. I do think they need to expand the Star Wars area, even if it’a putting another ride like rise of resistance and possibly a cantina bar.

It's the same size of Hong Kong's without the roller coaster. Arendelle Village is wider and there's a big meet and greet location on the side of the castle, something not found in HK.

I just got back from DLP for the first time. I have to say I was unimpressed. Most of the rides are stale and outdated. I did not think Space Mountain was good at all. The launch is pretty lame and Flight Force was much better. Adventure Isle only has two rides, Pirates, which is just okay, and Indiana Jones, which I think is the worst ride I've ever been on, really unpleasant! Phantom Manor had quite a morbid plot and wasn't anywhere near as fun as the Disneyland original. The kids dark rides of Snow White, Peter Pan and Pinocchio looked dated on an uneven and bumpy track. Only Big Thunder Mountian was impressive. And don't get me started on Studios Parc. I will save my money for Epic Universe in future.

Having visited the orlando parks for the first time this summer, DLP being my home park, I can see DLP be underwhelming in terms of ride number, but the quality of a lot of the rides is great for the time they were built. We got no rise of the resistance (yet), but for the old rides it's the best versions for a lot of them

I can understand your reasoning that DLP is a bit underwhelming. From your comment, I think that you are from the USA or canada. I mean travelling to europe just for DLP has the same energy like traveling to the USA just to eat at their McDonalds. Europe has a wide selection on themeparks that may give you a better experience than Disney.

I agree with everything in this video. I go to Disneyland Paris a few times the last years and the rides are mostly old and boring. I basically skip them all nothing worth queuing for. I personally don’t care for animatronics like piartes or the whole Toy Story land is incredibly basic and appeals to kids with no thrill rides at all. Or the rides have just had a slap of paint and called something new and that’s incredibly boring as well. It feels like Disneyland Paris doesn’t matter at all they stuff the crowds in and want us to pay top dollar for the worst experiences. One of the last times I went the fountain outside it’s a small world had the biggest crack and leak in it. It was so unlike disney to let something so broken be on show like that.

Of course! Indeed, that side of Val d'Europe has been developed not too long ago and it's quite close to the park, however there's still some distance between them. The lenses make it seem closer than it really is!

All the transformation stuff arround both parks snd the village looking great but still im not sold on that. When you look what other parks arround the world building, it lacks on rides and things to actually do. But im still looking forward to see the finished work

I agree, but also I feel paris has been so neglected that they're having to play catch-up now. If they started building a load of new stuff, people would be saying 'but the stuff we already have is crumbling!' so I do think it's fair to tidy up what's there first
Great video as always! It's great to see how much TLC all areas of the resort are getting. It's quite staggering how many walls are up right now; it feels like a bad time to be there currently
Thanks! Indeed, there's so much happening around the resort and they're only getting started. Currently, Disney is offering some huge discounts for the summer due to lower than expected crowds, so I'd say it's a great time to visit haha
Even the parts not under construction are looking tatty. Much TLC required, painting and rubbish clearing.
We came back last Friday, spending 6 days at DLP. It was quite a sight with all the bordered up areas and it’s exciting to see so much activity going on. One thing that I wish they had was more Star Wars merch for men. There was one spirit jersey but every shop had it in XXL only. I do think they need to expand the Star Wars area, even if it’a putting another ride like rise of resistance and possibly a cantina bar.
Indeed, there are rumours about that happening too, but currently just that.
We are going the first week in August and while alot of what is boarded up is for the younger generation, I am hopeful it doesnt sour our visit. looking forward to clarity of whats coming after Frozen is completed...
Our last visit was just before Avengers Campus opened (literally a week or 2 before)..... so this will be new for us on this visit
@@Pedders529 you’ll have a great time. The boarding up does take some of the views away but it’s exciting that something fresh is happening.

I think the Frozen land and all that isn’t until 2026, but all the Disney village and Hollywood Studios should be complete.

It's the same size of Hong Kong's without the roller coaster. Arendelle Village is wider and there's a big meet and greet location on the side of the castle, something not found in HK.
I can’t wait for the little expansion coming to Toy Story playland since it’s one of my favourite lands in all of DLP for nostalgic reasons
I actually do agree! One of the main problems of TSPL is how small it is, that tiny bit will surely go a long way in helping with that! Would be lovely if they had one of the HKDL little merch kiosks!

I just got back from DLP for the first time. I have to say I was unimpressed. Most of the rides are stale and outdated. I did not think Space Mountain was good at all. The launch is pretty lame and Flight Force was much better. Adventure Isle only has two rides, Pirates, which is just okay, and Indiana Jones, which I think is the worst ride I've ever been on, really unpleasant! Phantom Manor had quite a morbid plot and wasn't anywhere near as fun as the Disneyland original. The kids dark rides of Snow White, Peter Pan and Pinocchio looked dated on an uneven and bumpy track. Only Big Thunder Mountian was impressive. And don't get me started on Studios Parc. I will save my money for Epic Universe in future.
Do not speak ill of Phantom Manor again.
Having visited the orlando parks for the first time this summer, DLP being my home park, I can see DLP be underwhelming in terms of ride number, but the quality of a lot of the rides is great for the time they were built. We got no rise of the resistance (yet), but for the old rides it's the best versions for a lot of them
First try to write people away from Disneyland Paris in favor of Universal? Won't work! This doesn't read like a fair judgement, it's rather as negative as possible. Still, only an opinion, but the motivation seems to shine through! At least how I read it.
I can understand your reasoning that DLP is a bit underwhelming. From your comment, I think that you are from the USA or canada. I mean travelling to europe just for DLP has the same energy like traveling to the USA just to eat at their McDonalds. Europe has a wide selection on themeparks that may give you a better experience than Disney.
Unsurprisingly, I totally disagree. Disneyland is by far the best in Europe! But no one is forced to visit, of course!
Can't wait to see it myself in October when i'm going!

I rid every ride here except for Magic Carpets over Agrabah however i rode the Magic Carpets of Aladdin in Magic Kingdom which is basically the same ride but has better theme elements. 10 Slinky Dog Spin 9 Toy Story Parachute Drop 8 Cars Road Trip 7 Cars Road Rally 6 RC Racer 5 Web Slingers 4 Avengers Assemble Flight Force(Gosh I hate this name) 3 Rattatouie The Adventure 2 Crushs Coaster 1 Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror

I think the Disneyland park could use another new e ticket ride there e tocket rides are only really Thunder Mountian, Hyperspace Mountian(please bring back earth to the moon) Indiana Jones and Pirates Of The Carribean. Another e ticket in fantasyland maybe could really benifit the park.
Im sad this park failed initially this is one of disneys most detailed parks in terms of theming. Thankfully it was able to turn its fortunes around by the way im still wishing to get Space Mountian From the Earth To the Moon back.

If I had only one wish, it would be that Paris would have the greatest area worldwide dedicated to “Beauty and the Beast”, because it’s in France. I was expecting this since their opening in 1992, when the Movie came out. I’ll keep dreaming of it. 😊
Great video! It looks that walk throughs and shows are excellent specialties at the Disneyland Paris resort! How many days do you suggest for seeing everything at the two parks?

If you’re coming from far, I’d say 3 days is a good time to explore and enjoy the parks if you’re staying in a Disney resort hotel. 4 days would be ideal to experience most of the shows and attractions with enough time to do it without any kind of stress! I love that it’s getting a redo. I always thought it looked like random buildings and shops just placed down with no rhyme or reason and nothing matched
I agree with everything in this video. I go to Disneyland Paris a few times the last years and the rides are mostly old and boring. I basically skip them all nothing worth queuing for. I personally don’t care for animatronics like piartes or the whole Toy Story land is incredibly basic and appeals to kids with no thrill rides at all. Or the rides have just had a slap of paint and called something new and that’s incredibly boring as well. It feels like Disneyland Paris doesn’t matter at all they stuff the crowds in and want us to pay top dollar for the worst experiences. One of the last times I went the fountain outside it’s a small world had the biggest crack and leak in it. It was so unlike disney to let something so broken be on show like that.
My money on a StarWars land next to the StarTour ride between Discoveryland and Phantasyland (Disneyland Paris MK)
Don’t get your hopes up y’all, even if a ride comes it takes 4-5 years if it is a good edition. Disney really needs to improve that.

Ya but the last two d23s have had epcot heavily focused (even if nothing actually came out of those plans) so I’d imagine animal kingdom gets the most attention with a confirmed new land and the heavily rumored lion king ride and then an update on the zootopia show

The centre (world) is clearly Epcot. Also the mountain on the right is DisneySea not Magic Kingdom 😊
There’s been quite a bit of discussion about this, regarding the Sun, it may be Spaceship Earth (even if I personally don’t believe it is) but the left mountain is certainly Big Thunder Mountain’s silhouette 😁
