In general… What do you think of building computers on the wall? I’m kind of digging the idea because I don’t need another old-school computer tower in my life, although yes, you can make them look really awesome. I may be getting ready to build my first PC,… Although, I decided I far prefer macOS to windows years ago. Don’t know about open versus closed cases etc. I definitely wasn’t thinking about getting into water cooling for my first build.

Honestly the worst rt implementation imo. I would rather the performance go to a higher framerate on my system instead. Maybe if they had done rtao or a better AO solution for moving objects.

this game is okay if you have a online friends playing with you. playing solo with ai allies sucks, since they won't do much anything.
Using RTX 4080 Super! Downloaded game, put on medium settings and game crashes. Saying out of memory. Lowered graphics to lowest settings, game still crashes immediately on launch. Typical Nexon nonsense. Oh well, back to Fortnite on ultra settings till they figure out their mess.
Rtx 4070 super is easily one of the best cards that nvidia developed so far.

I can attest DLSS + Ray Tracing DOES NOT GET 100+ frames in this game on a 4080... What is the point of lying to customers.. You god damn clowns.

Try this I have a 4090 and I know what you mean but changing the screen from borderless full screen to full screen
Once you change it you can change it back it seems to happen when you go to a new area that loads that's what I use to fix the problem then it's super smooth running at 90 to 120fps at 4kmax raytraced
4080 and the game said that i don't have memory and 3 blue screen, not gonna play that crap, my pc is updated in every single driver and this is what i have to deal with
The game is brand new. You know the deal by now... Gotta wait for the first few patches before it's actually playable. But it's free so I don't want to hear your complaining😂

My son has the Asus 4070 TUF Gaming OC and it smokes everything at 1440p no problem. My daughters 3070 is still hanging in there at 1440p as well 😎

its unreal engine though....its like a tick box for the developer. UE5 is making these quick cash grab pump and dump live service type games so easy.

How strange. In the comparison shot at 0:15 I'd say that the image quality on the left - with Ray Reconstruction OFF - looks better, because it has richer shadows in places where I'd expect them, like around the circular windows in the background. Meanwhile the image on the right looks a lot more statically lit. Too sterile. The demonstrated difference in flickering on the helmet is a detail I might not even have noticed if it wasn't 4x zoomed in.
You'll notice it even if it wasn't even zoomed in...

DLSS 3.5 its for RTX 40 series cards right?
Ray Recontruction is for 20, 30 and 40 series cards, but Frame Generation is 40 series only
Exactly what the other guy said. I just wanted to add that the ".5" in "3.5" is for the addition of Ray Reconstruction, which enables higher definition Ray Tracing. You're going to need a pretty powerful 30 or 40 series to truly take advantage of Ray Tracing period, keep that in mind. If you don't have a 3080 or above, I'd wait for the 50 series to come out at the end of 2024 and see what that offers, and also how much the prices of all GPUs drop.
