Ill tell you right now, If you unplugged the MAF sensor to breakdown the air filter box to replace the filter. that is ware you got your code blink. system has a standing system monitor.

I used a long 8mm 5/16 hex key allen wrench to remove stinking black diff fluid without removing exhaust. Standard swearing involved thou. For the lazy.

Got an 8.1 03 exactly like this big offset tho Holy fuck does it go through mud with those 35 duratracs and a 6 inch lift picked it up for 5500 bucks dif was gone in the front and leaked oil from cooler lines so fixed it up Holy man what a unit

I'm honestly leaning towards buying this or the Shelby gt350, but don't know what i want. I'm not going charger hellcat because of the major price increase (almost 90k now), i can pick up a used gt350 for 60k, and this for around 50k which is around what i'm willing to spend. But not sure what would be a fun reliable car that i will be daily driving mainly (I have a Lexus SUV for space so that's of no importance to me)

I just got one. Same year. Same color. And a 496. I got hummer rims and 2 inch spacers. It’s a beast man. Someone traded it in to my dealer on a old Honda m8nivan. It is so cool. But thirsty. Lol

It’s a V8, it’s a rear wheel drive, it sounds awesome like a real car should and it’s quick enough for anyone .. arguably the only real man’s car left on the planet.. but hey I’m 60 I lived and breathed V8 sedans all my life I feel so sad for the new generation who wont experience real cars

Having a chugging/sputtering issue with my g8 due to a check engine light code p0507 that I recently got after driving the car around after getting a couple upgrades (headers, exhaust ,tune) saw on some forums that maybe it could be fixed if you clean the throttle body and maf sensor so im hoping its that if not they suggested it coulda been the spark plug wires or even the spark plugs which in my case would somewhat make sense because my headers touch with the spark plug wires so if the throttle body and maf sensor cleaning doesnt work ill be grabbing some spark plug wires afterwards and trying that hope this helped someone else with the same issue lol

Im on the fence about getting a GTO or a G8. The back seats in the GTO are actually roomy. I love a manual car, the Gto is a manual. I just keep checking out the G8, its a damn good looking car. Any advice would be great. I also have a 5 and 7 year old.

That exhaust got me loving the shelby gt500s the way the exhaust sound rumbles while they idle sounds venomous just like the cobra when you get bit like those mustang shelby GTs have some dangerously amazing sounds. Any year.

Displacement on demand is the biggest issue with the L76 motors, you have to get a dod delete kit from G8only or Texas speed performance and then you should be good but depends on if you want a stock cam or chop lol

Finally found my 09 GT. Paper work and licensing should be complete soon. Can't wait. 7 year search for a good one. Seen about 10 but they were all a little beaten up.
