If you’re an employee and want an HR department that works for you, it’s called a union.
I was employed for a company 5 years. I got injured and couldn't work until after surgery. After I got back out there I felt a lot of pain and per doctor's order , I did not take jobs after that one until my appointment. HR kept calling me telling me of I don't accept anymore jobs they will put me on "the list". They had fired me before my doctors appointment
That is why when someone wants to rent my property and I see they work as HR, I deny their application and don't rent to them.
HR protects the comoany from you, not you from the company.
Yeah i was in a metting with Upper management and my boss and told him i had an issue with his racist comments to me and other black employees and he looked dead at the GM by the end of the meeting and said you either fire him or i quit. Smh i was fired. Hes still employed
Short answer, be black and claim racism.
All of these problems with politics aggresssion come from Fox Corporation I’ve had enough ! They have to pay as well this is awful Ongoing abuse and assault- I no longer support work for them stop parrlleing my private life and property!
It's crazy that you can be fired just because someone doesn't like you as a person. Yelling, putting you in situations you can't possibly hope to succeed in, and you have no recourse....
Anyone who's dealt with HR can tell you: the department isn't there to look out for you. It exists to protect the company from liability. It's the sole function. It isn't people in the department being mean. It exists only for that purpose.
Hr is your companies "Green Police"😅
I recored every conversation .... and I tell you I got a bigger settlement out of a disgriminantion case against my hr lady because she forgot she was on the record.... 😅 didn't have to work for an entire year because she thought she was untouchable in her position of hr
The future wages sum seems off since it would take 5 years to get to the current level but if this hadn’t happened then in 5 years, the original wage would have been 150,000 so… there’s still a lot more lost there than what is shown. It still doesn’t add up.
Someone was terminated for alteration. The person was never given a warning letter since employ.
A few things here. 1) People MUST sign arbitration agreements with employers because most all large and medium sized companies/employers require signature of the agreements. If people don't sign, they can't get a job. So it is sign or live on the streets. 2) NO contract should be allowed to remove basic inherent constitutional rights. Unfortunately it is allowed. 3) Most cases that go to arbitration settle well before the arbitration hearing (public court trial equivalent), without the arbitrator needing to render a judgement.
Do raises not apply toward the hypothetical “not fired” column?
I like how you lead me to like and comment. Pretty slick. I already subscribed.
Yes make more for all employees. Thanks I appreciate you. YOU ROCK!
I just try and stay out of all the issues at work and do hybrid schedule work keeping a low profile. I don't want any of this.
Schocking that i got this video recommended when im going through hell at my work because poor managers and HR, they have lied and even fabricated evidence. Everything you said it has happened to me and I'm in Australia.
If in CA over 40 and the company lied under pretext the reason for lay off, if you can prove it will the company face penalties and punitive damages?
Excellent presentation!!!!
In Calif if you are over 40 and you can Prove your company lied under pretext about why you were laid off will the company receive penalties and punitive damages?
Never go to HR see your attorney
HR works for the company. Not the employees.
Savvy employees will go to HR with a serious issue after going through their management and/or confronting the person involved, creating a record. HR now has to deal with both parties and it's a real pain for them. Yes, the employee will probably lose, but in the long run the others involved will end up packing their bags eventually.
Alot of the time it's not the supervisors it's the HR person.
One of my HR Managers once told me: "Illegal is a sick bird." OK then. I think most people have caught on to the classification issue and push for hourly pay. If you go up against HR, consider yourself fired and cover your tracks.
Yep - HR is an arm of the company. Legitimate complainers should see themselves as whistleblowers, with all that it entails. Get ready for a long and fruitless battle.
Branigan Robertson, ZAP Branigan Robertson.
labor lawyers are for the employers not for the employees... the purpose of videos like this one is to make employees believe that they can trust an employment lawyer.
tt.
If your complaint is against a salaried supervisor, HR will tell them it's you who made the complaint and you will be gone in less than a year.
Is it normal that if you don't get fired, they will force you to quit?
I was given a write up years ago, I looked at it and professionally declined to give them my signature, they asked why? I told them I sign contracts and checks not write ups. They left me alone and I went back to work.
Communicate via email ONLY.
Nah, I just hand that shii to the union rep and *POOF* it’s gone
One thing I know for sure that HR is very good at putting up a facade but they are always at the interest of the company, not you
They will protect bad nurses who have housekeepers passing out medication
Portage manor, habitat for humanity….. think cheating husbands x wife’s are mad. No one knowingly slept with your husband lady-
They sure do
I complained to HR about being mistreated by Dir, but supervisor did nothing and ended up being a bully herself, and HR did not help, I ended up being fired but no legit reason, real reason not shared. and in a nut shell, they did not help, instead a retaliation occurred even after I had a claim in for workmans comp & FMLA, investagtion from HR anonymous line. Hopefully I have a case and can find justice here. thank you Branigan & Brandon. Ana
i just received a call back from your office, i am hoping you can help, i started following you in nov 2023 once i felt my job was at risk, after i complained to HR, filed for FMLA, workmans comp, all leadig to being let go, your videos have helped me build a case. recommend everyone watches and learns their rights even if there is no current issue at the job/office, as ppl can turn on a dime, co-workers are not your freinds nor is HR as attorney mentions in all his videos. good luck all, appreicate this channel.
Do you have references for Medical negligence also on punitive damages of the same
AB 51 in California is gone.
What if I sign the arbitration agreement, but not in my name. Let's say my name is Tom Jonas, but I sign the name, Tom Jones? I once met an actress who signed a contract as Daffy Duck. They wouldn't let her take home a copy of the contract until she signed it. So she signed a different name, took it home, had it reviewed by a lawyer, discovered it was invalid, and because she signed a different name, it was rendered unenforceable.
No because America cannot handle the truth !
HR works for management not workers
Dude sounds like a jilted ex lover.
Bahahahaha
Having a job=modern day slavery. Just gotta keep your head down and work hard. Or start your own business.
Yeah, please make a video about arbitration (if you haven’t already). I’ll bet most companies do this. If there’s a way to avoid arbitration and still keep the job offer, I’d love to hear it.
