As far as I know this remains the solo act. Perhaps the chap ( Nick ) thought immortality worth more than a few thousand quid. It might have been even better if Nick had allowed Ibrahim to speak first, Ibrahim saying that he was going to split as all contestants invariably do, until this one. In return " Good," says Nick "- because I`m going to steal......" What then ? There are so many subtle permutations to this show. As far as I know it is no longer broadcast on British TV nor are new episodes forthcoming. It`s great entertainment. It is, as you say, clever stuff.

95% of the time. The ball you pick up is in-line with the opponent. So if you pick Steal with ball on the left, their right ball will be Steal as well. This video proved my theory right.

usually the thinking process of someone when choosing whether to split or steal is analyzing if they should trust the other person and split the money or take the whole cake and not let anyone fool them what this guy did was to remove the second option which instead of making it a 50/50 decision he forces them to choose to split if they want to have any chance at all What a genius!
