The Patriots “cheated” and won 6 SB’s, 9 SB appearances, numerous conference championship games, nearly 15 Division titles in a 20 year span. Why wasn’t everyone else “cheating.” The NFL is not coming to Foxboro and taking SB trophies away. What about your team? Some of that Patriot success could have been yours.

I played basketball everyday for years and I slowly saw my feet get worse and worse nothing like this but it’s crazy the wear and tear it has on your feet. Same for knees! Eventually playing a sport Soo much you will get injured.

Some of this is ok, but the reality is if the NFL is going to re-align ever again, it will be to do a complete overhaul. The best system that could be put in place is one where you eliminate conference distinctions in their entirety. There is no need for the separation, and if you're able to more effectively insure that the best teams across the league make the playoffs so you don't wind up with a disparity in record because of some arbitrary conference distinction that doesn't matter. So this leaves a couple options. Either eight divisions of 4 teams or four divisions of 8 teams. If you want to insure a good mix of teams playing a variety of opponents over time, then eight divisions is superior, while if you're looking to insure ideal scheduling with fewer hoops you want four divisions. The 8 team divisions is my preference, as with the 17 game season you play everyone in division twice (14 games) and the team that finished in the same place as you last year in the other divisions (3 games). This also makes for some very nice geographical setups while maintaining many current rivalries (sorry Dallas and Miami). First is your East division of NE, NYG, NYJ, Buffalo, Philly, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Washington. This keeps rivalries that exist within a few current divisions while keeping all 3 NY teams, both Pennsylvania teams, and the combination of Washington and Baltimore as "state supremacy" rivalries. Second is the South division, with Carolina, Atlanta, Jacksonvilla, Miami, Tampa, New Orleans, Houston, and Dallas. Again, keeping states and a couple major rivalries together. The North division is also easy, with the entire NFC North, the Indy-Tennessee rivalry, and Ohio. This also gives us a fun Michigan vs Ohio setup, which has always been good times. This just leaves the West which are all of the existing 8 AFC+NFC West teams. All rivalries here maintained, plus it puts all of the California teams together for the same "state supremacy" rivalry idea. There are a number of ways to geographically configure the four team division setup, but they are not nearly as satisfying to me as the eight team setup. Plus, with the 8 team no conferences alignment, the NFL could do some really fun things like sell TV rights by division for the Sunday day games and then each of the three night games separately. That's 7 TV deals instead of 5.

Gotta be the dumbest video I have ever seen with an even dumber comment section. 1. Stealing signals is legal it's still is. You just have to do it on a specific location. 2. That location was the reason of Spygate not the stealing signal part. It was legal until 2006 so after the superbowl of the eagles. 3. The jets actually did it too after 2006 but were not punished. People care only because it is the Patriots. 4. The filming practice of the rams was published by the Boston Herald and they later apologized on the front page months later for being wrong. But nobody care about that I guess. People still bring it up even if it was false. 5. The Tuck rule in case somebody bring it up was use against the Pats in 2001. 6. The initial report of the 11 out of 12 balls being deflated was retracted by the journalist. The Colts also had deflated football almost if the ideal gas law was in play. Crazy I know. 7. The court decided that Deflategate didn't have enough proof to suspend Brady. They suspend him anyway because as a private company, Goodell didn't need any proof to suspend a employee. The suspension was a shot against the NFLPA to keep Goodell power. 8. Quarterback Jeff Blake that played in 8 organizations admitted that deflated balls are common practice. Rodgers openly admit that he has over-inflated his balls. No team except the Pats have been punished. 9. In the bargaining agreement, they actually have a fine of Maximum 25 000$ if a team temper with the balls so even if the patriots were guilty they shouldn't have lost 2 draft pick, their qb for 4 games and receive a 1 million fine. 10. In 2009, the NFL suspended a member of the Jets’ equipment for attempting “to use unapproved equipment to prep the Kicking Balls” before a game against the Patriots. The NFL did not investigate or discipline the Jets kicker for “general awareness” or specific involvement like Brady was.
