What an unusual magazines display rack. Good thing it never rained inside too. While needing help with repairing the roof and the basement too. Then less interesting characters would be showing up to buy them eh? Not to mention who would then be left watching that sitcom.

"She'd be better off with the burglars" The character Ackwright's men are built different than women patrolling the neighborhood with a golf club to look for burglars act sure did seem to impress Mrs. Featherstone and the lady who was feeling tired of being around only snuff and cats well enough though. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

You have to have admire the character Awkright's foresight when coming up with a good enough start-up way to avoid the norm called getting fired from your paid job while it is getting close to retirement when you would then get a full retirement package. Which is many times these days after contacting social media now with an opinion on anything not pre-approved of by your own boss too with the use of some tower surveilling you in a home office a lot of time now instead. That way Awkright got to decide on his own when he was going to get to retire instead.

(The Mr. and) Mrs. Featherstone needed to buy 2 bats at the time. Well I wonder why. The character Awkright wasn't the least bit concerned at the time though while the profits were at the time good enough for both Akwright and for Granville.

"I wish you would just relax and be so 'Hungarian' about everything. Nobody is going to take away your bachelor's pad away from you". What an effective opening line for a parody episode on the BBC. Hilarious.

I love this show so much. It will bring me out of the deepest depression. I've always loved British humor. And it's nice to know that the British have the same shenanigans going on among a certain class of people as do the Americans. People are people, and God love them all ! I love Ronnie Barker's stammer. What a talented actor he was ! I wish just once I could talk like that to a cashier just to see their reaction !

I keep returning to rnjoy them on breakfasts as it became a regular while doing laundry. 😅 Couldn’t feel better. It has a special feel to it.. nostalgia.. simplicity that makes you feel right at home. It was perfectly written each character held ones own reasonable perspectives. Granville was and always will be the tear in our hearts but in spite of lack of desired life he was downright e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g in Arkwrights life. He could not do without. Which brings a 🙂 to our hearts.
