    Why in the world did you remove all the lower components? The 2 water seals and oil seal can be replaced from the top after you removed the oil pump gears???

    And curious why you didn't change the plastic shift rod bushing while head off?

    I removed the oil pan due to fact the coupling for the oil pump drive gear had come apart and there were pieces in the oil pan I could not see so I pulled it apart to make sure I got all the pieces out.. I have done many of the water seals and oil seal I understand you can do this job with out doing what I did but I had my own reasons why I pulled it further down!!!!!!

    Was it overheating at idle or not peeing? I have a 115 thats overheating at 4k rpm but pees fine with 0 psi water pressure. Did water pump, lower unit driveshaft seal etc. Stumped.

    Good day! I know of a Suzuki dealer that sells lots of these DF300AP from 2019 to current 2024, how crucial and how often should valve clearances be checked on these engines? These engines are normally bullet proof and the dealer has been having lots of these coming back with issues all DF300AP with cracked port side heads between valves on cylinder 4. Any feedback would be appreciated! Nice video BTW!

    I also have a DF200 and took the prop shaft out. Unfortunately, I couldn't tell how the the spring and ball bearings went into the prop shaft. Does the spring and bearings go into the shaft first then the pin so there is always forward springed pressure of the dog clutch into the forward gear? Or, does the shift selector do all the work into forward and reverse. Thanks for the video.

    Yes always put new silicone on the exhaust divider. As far as prop and speed I’m not sure. That job was little while ago and don’t remember prop size unfortunately

    Great Video! It's actually amazing that this newer engine with all of the electronics, can still be flushed and fire up. Boy, that sure made a TON of steam! Mine has steam but nothing like this. Maybe it was the weather/temp/humidity when you were filming it. What sensors did you have to disconnect? Did you end up having to replace any components/sensors? Even the starter and alternator survived?

    Great video, thank you! Can you elaborate on the 85 ft lbs on the "fat shaft" lowers? I have a 225 Pro XS with the For Torq SSR and it states 55 ft lbs. Do you also recommend replacing the Nylock lock nut every time, as there is no cotter pin, and it's the only thing holding the prop on, combined with the Belleville washer.

    the engine has been standing for 4 years and has 550 hours..the problem was in the white wire, but I solved that and the engine started. I started it for a few days for 10-15 seconds and everything was fine and now it won't anymore..the pump works but there is no spark..it gives me the error 2 4 CMP sensor..bought a new one and the same thing..I doubt if the chain can skip? I would like to check that but I don't know how? what positions should be on the FLYWHEEL COVER and on the hole when the CMP sensor is removed? Th

    Wondering if this boat is trailerable with the wrap on or if the wind would tear it off?

  • @Phillipsmarine2022
    @Phillipsmarine20227 ай бұрын

    I’ve had boats go from my place on eastern shore to California and make it there with everything still intact. This boat actually traveled 35 miles to its owners places at 60mph and still intact so really never had an issue with them coming apart in the wind or travel if they are done correctly.
