We've loved living full-time in an RV for the past few years and spend as much time as possible on the road, on a trail, or in a park seeing what this world has to offer. We'd love to share our journey with you.
Why “Thirteen Adventures?”
Thirteen:
- atomic number for Aluminum, the thirteenth element in the Periodic Table; the shell of an American icon, which has been turning heads on the highway since 1931, the Airstream
Adventures:
- an unusual and exciting experience or activity calling for enterprise and enthusiasm
- to engage in an exciting activity, especially the exploration of unknown territory
Our goal for Thirteen Adventures is to share unusual and exciting experiences, and explore unknowns, with you, while calling our Airstream home.

Fun ! I love seeing your Piper in the water. We took our Piper & Jackson to Indiana Dunes on July 3rd. Scorching hot & crowded and yes, underwhelming visitors center (got my stamp and got out of there) True story at Wrigley....the first time I took Vinnie he fell asleep behind home plate (jet lag) Thanks for taking us along, we are currently in south GA taking our senior discount at state parks. It's a cool place to visit! I think the ticket prices were reasonable. I dont recall exactly what they cost but it was not as much as we have paid at other parks for similar seats.
We can't wait to see you on the road, too! Qs: When you visit ballparks as a guest -- not your teams home park, and your team is not playing -- 1) do you wear your team's jersey? 2) do you root root root for the home team?
We hope to see you soon too! The only team we truly root for in this house is Clemson Tiger football. (Blair only....Brad does not invest in any team). Otherwise, we typically root for the home team of wherever we are. We both enjoy competition and community at these events.

Our pup adores water as well! And no dip in the lake is complete until he rolls in sand, dirt, or freshly mown grass ( which then turns his white patches a lovely shade of green )😮 and I’m with Blair….snakes AND ticks? Hard no

Love watching your adventures. We are flying out to Ohio this Tuesday to pick up our Airstream from Jackson Center where it’s been for the past Two weeks. Will be nice to have it home in time to take it back out.

Love all of your videos. Been following you for a while. I was a naval aviator, and hope to cross paths one day to swap some stories. Always Happy travels, from one Airstreamer to another.

So a video on a dirty sandy dog being cleaned before entering airstream is in order.
It includes a walk until she is dry, which is shockingly fast. Then a brushing with two different brushes. Then daily sweeping!
Indiana Dunes is one of the Parks I want to see. Looks like a nice campground and getting good wifi service is great. I'm disappointed that the visitor Center was under whelming. Good to know about the flooded bike path, that I would not enjoy. I also noticed your convection oven accessories sitting on the stove behind Blaire, the rack and pan. Do you use them often. I find that we use ours a lot. Cookies, roasting potatoes and veggies, cobblers, pizza's etc... Did you happen to see a comment I posted on one of your videos last week. It was about the bolt on the shocks coming off. We were at an AS Rally for Southern California in Mission Bay. One of the gentlemen went around and checked all the AS that were there. He said he heard about the problem from one of your videos. Nice work. We did have a problem. The screw was there but the bolt was missing. The screw was jammed in lopsided. We went to Home Depot to get the parts then had to lift the AS up as if we were changing a tire to remove the pressure off the screw. We finally got it to unscrew and then replaced it correctly with the new bolt & washers. Thx for your detailed informative weekly posting. We learn so much from them.
Hi! We do use the convection oven often and love it! So many seem to be hesitant to use it and we dont know why! I did see the comment and if I havent responded yet, I will today as I typically go through them once a week or so and reply. So glad you found the issue and were able to get it sorted out.
