    The plastic peg of the shower head holder in our new Bambi broke off after a trip. Found a Moen metal version on EBay in Canada. No more problems. Your videos are very informative and fun. Great job.

    Ah! See Scout photobombed you in shower LOL! Interesting video about the air vents. I could see maybe using 2 in our FC 27fbt bedroom but it's fine in rest of coach. BTW we use Oxygenics Fury heads on our shower (and also had it with our Classic 33) and it's a nice selection of spray settings. Maybe Blair would find that helpful. Safe travels!

    She sure did photobomb us! This is rare as she is not very interested in my video topics or work. She likes to observe from afar. Thank you for the recommendation on a shower head. We will check it out.

    OMG! Just for giggles, I just checked my nuts on the shocks, as suggested. While I could see the one you pointed to (it was fine), BOTH the upper nuts on the curb side were gone...the rod was just barely on there! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VERY VALUABLE SUGGESTION!!!!

    13:35 Important Update! After discovering our coach was missing both nuts, we purchased all the 1/2” x 13 grade 8 locking nuts (they didn’t have flanges, so we purchased washers as well) they had at Ace Hardware…and headed to a local AS rally. I could NOT believe that out of 10 dual axial trailers - ONLY 2 had NO issues! Several were missing both nuts, those that were only missing one, also had a loose second nut! Year of coach doesn’t matter! 2007 ~ 2022 had issues we found. PRO TIP - If you are using X-braces and using a box wretch to put them on, it’s the PERFECT tool! (Very little space between frame and nut - too tight for socket!) Second - The shock will fight you! Use a crow bar to push the shock into position so you can get enough threads to get the nut started (so much faster than trying to man handle it into place like I originally did!). Headed to a second rally next weekend - we’ll see how things tally up! Suspected cause - We suspect the engineering isn’t correct on the shock mounting bolts - the shock should be completely straight, but it’s actually at an angle, putting pressure on those nuts. We suspect the coach’s movement on the curb side is acting like a ratchet to loosen those nuts (while driver’s side is tightening?). If your nuts are present, strongly suggest Loc-Tite to make sure they stay on!

    The erPODS are a game changer in the 23’ trailers that only have one AC. We ordered them and had them installed at Jackson Center last week. They made the rest of our trip so much better. They truly are making the difference between not being able to camp in Texas summers to being able to camp in Texas summers. Expensive, but worth it. I don’t agree with your wife on the Oxygenics though.

    Replaced all in my FC with the Airkrafters. Made a HUGE difference especially in NM where we are in the 100’s. Very expensive but worth the investment for us!! Like the flexibility to move/ close/manipulate each vent. You get what you pay for in quality. Stay away from the cheap knockoffs you can buy on-line.

    I just changed out four of my vents this week with the Airstream Upfitters vents. Regardless of which way anyone goes, the air flow is increased substantially so I don't think anyone can go wrong with their choice. I cranked the A/C up while I was woking on them and when you remove the old vent, you can feel a massive amount of air coming out, it's pretty incredible. Regardless of your choice, Id say change them out.

    Brad, does your infiltration and water softener system ever dilute or lesson your water pressure enough that your water pump doesn’t have the pressure needed to turn on the water heater? I’ve never had problems with my water heater until I started using a soft water system and I have gotten E1 and E2 errors a couple times since. I tried using the water in the fresh tank which would bypass the water softener and have still gotten those error messages so not sure what might be going on. Had the dealership check it out and they couldn’t get it to show up.

  • @ThirteenAdventures

    @ThirteenAdventures

    Ай бұрын

    You have to backflush the softer every three months or so. You have to replace the filters every six months or so. It's a noticeable change in flow rate when its time to do these tasks. E1/2 have nothing to do with water flow rate. Thats all about gas and ignition. If you've noticed these when you had your tanks off and then back on or when you swapped out tanks, you could have air in the lines which would cause those errors.

    Here is a cheap hack to modify sockets to protect wheels if you don't already have sockets that work and don't want to purchase rubber coated sockets. Take some electrical tape and wrap it around the outside of the socket. A few wraps adds minimal thickness but helps to prevent nicks to your wheels if you inadvertently bump the wheel when inserting the socket.
