Such tragedies on this land, may the all r.i.p😢
Everything in this world is fleeting ,once it was highly valued now it's ashes like everything material
You're completely right. Thank you for watching!!!
Roy Orbisons sons that died in the fire and his first wife that was killed in a motorcycle accident are buried in Woodlawn in Nashville.
I did a video over that cemetery but did not find those graves. I got to back sometime cause there are several graves I couldn't find. Thanks for watching!!!
@@rockytoptraveler They're on the side of the cemetery up on a hillside. There are steps that go up the hill but I don't remember which side of the cemetery. It took me a while to find them. No monument, just flat stones.
@@MattJ1977 I think I may know where you are talking about...all 3 of them together?
@@rockytoptraveler yes
I have a book of johnny showes how it looked inside

He seemed like he would be a great humble friendly person...he had such a cool deep voice!!! Thank you for watching!!!
why is that tree called" witness tree"?
Usually old trees at historic places are called "witness trees" because they were around for many many years and "saw" many things happen.
@@rockytoptraveler thank you for your fast reply.
Thats not a fire pit. That was originally a marker placed there by her fan club on the spot her body was found
Oh ok, it looks like a fire pit but that makes sense that it's a marker. Thanks for the info and thanks for watching!!!
Great job
Thank you so much for watching!!!
Thanks for a great video. I have given my 3 sons each a different village to remember me by. I loved each and every piece.
Thank you for watching! It was a very neat place to see all the villages.
You did a good job! I work at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens I am here right now lol
Thank you! That was the first time I had been there. It's a very beautiful place and I definitely want to visit again sometime.
Great video. Thanks for sharing it. I visited Graceland and the mausoleum in November of 2022. It was locked and in a bad state of disrepair. It looks a lot better in your video.
Thank you so much for watching. The mausoleum was being worked on at the time of the video. It was locked then also but renovations were being done inside as well. I hope to check it out again after renovations are done and get inside.
@@rockytoptraveler Hi Rocky. I hope you have a chance to see the mausoleum all renovated. I hope to see it again someday. It was late afternoon when I visited Forest Hill cemetery and the mausoleum and it was kind of spooky to be honest! I live in Maine though so not sure when I will be able to return there. I’d love to tour Graceland again too!😊
@@Beth-yb2kv I'd love to visit Maine sometime.
@@rockytoptraveler You definitely should! It’s a beautiful place. I hope you can someday!😊
@@Beth-yb2kv I definitely hope so
No pictures of Loretta and Dolly Parton ? Wonder why ? Or Pasty Cline either ?
It was mostly her and her family but definitely would've been nice to have seen some pics of her and Dolly or Patsy or Tammy. Thanks for watching!!!
I glad I live in Australia, We don't have too much stuff like that here. If we have modern Australians find a way to try and destroy it. I don't think I could handle all these great places with these legends.
I understand...thank you so much for watching!!!
I don’t see any thing about here friend ship with Patsy Cline???
Yea, they didn't have anything about her and Patsy. I don't know why they didn't but they should have. Thanks for watching!!!
Her childhood home still stands in Butcher Hollar, her family gives tours. Rumor has it, her home place may be made historical landmark, if our Governor Andy Beshear signs. She is one of the most famous Kentuckians. Her cousin is Patty Loveless
Yea I'm sorry I made a mistake on where Butcher Holler is. For some reason I always thought it was WV. I knew her home place is open for tours but didn't know her family gave the tours and it absolutely needs to become a National Historic Landmark!!! I also didn't know her a Patty Lovelace was related. Thank you for watching!!!
George Jones paid for Johnny Paychecks funeral. He was a good friend with a good heart.
Yea he paid for it all...that's the other side of George people don't hear about. Thanks for watching!!!
Red was also in Black Sheep Squadron with Robert Conrad
He was in a good amount of movies...I didn't know them all... thanks for watching!!!
FOOD LOOKS GOOD WHERE IS A PIC OF HER SPARKPLUG ??
They didn't have any pics of him except in the museum
DOO WAS THE SPARKPLUG !!!
I gotcha
WHY THE BUFFALO ? THATS THE KANSAS ANIMAL 😄
Idk why it was there
Liked Charlie Rich. Talented man.
Yea he was...he was liked by many people.
Liked Red West in Road House with Patrick Swayze.
I never realized that was him in Road House until I was doing this video and then it hit me. Thanks for watching!!!

Thank you for watching!!!
You are welcome 🤗

Thank you for watching!!!
If Loretta's original home is still standing, it's in Kentucky, not West Virginia.
Yes, it is still standing and it is in West Virginia...that was a mistake on my part. Thanks for watching!!!
@@rockytoptraveler You're welcome. It was a fun video!
@@Archie583 Thank you!!!
Absolutely love Charlie Rich ❤️
Thank you so much for watching!!!
You did a great job, I thought. Heaven sure gained, a beautiful singer, when Loretta arrived. Coal Miner's Daughter, is one of my all time favorite movie's, right up there with Gone with the Wind, and Fried Green Tomatoes. I found your channel looking for interviews with Loretta after I watched an episode of " A Haunting", or at least, I think, that's what the show was called; wherein, Loretta, and her Hurricane Hills home were featured. There were so many spirit's around the place, Loretta, talked for a long time, explaining things, that both she and her family had seen. Loretta told how a big civil war battle, maybe many, had been fought there, where the home was converted to a hospital; and, there was some spirit's from that along with a lady in white, who's baby had died. Pretty interesting stuff. But, Loretta, told how her mama was visiting once, and they were down by some water on the property, when her mama, told her one of her children would drown there. She told her mama all her children could swim, so that not to worry about it; but, Loretta was bothered by it. Sometime later, I don't know how much later, she was in the hsp somewhere in ICU, very sick, when Doo came in, and she said, "OH!" (Happy) You've come to see me." But, he had come to tell her their son, Jack, had drowned. He was riding a horse, and she said, the horse got spooked, had thrown him, and she thought the fall knocked him out, else he'd a been ok; but, he did drown. Very interesting show. If you love Loretta, look it up. Again, you did a great job with this❤
Thank you so much!!! I have heard that the old plantation home is "haunted" but I guess with good friendly ghosts? If you can visit Hurricane Mills sometime you definitely should but again thank you so much for watching!!!
@rockytoptraveler I own and operate a 34 year old custom mill, Fox Hollow Wood Works, where we make cystom mouldings: crown, casing, base, curved stairs, regular stairs, ship lap, wainscoting, etc. You name it, we make it. We're in KY, too; but, you're video was good, I feel, as if, we've already been! We're in KY, but do plan on going to see it. Thanks again!

The Bryant’s also wrote a lot of song for the Everly Brothers.
I knew they wrote a lot of other songs but I didn't know who all recorded them. Thanks for the information and thanks for watching.
@@rockytoptraveler one that they wrote was ‘Love Hurts,’ the song by Nazareth in the 70s. It was first recorded by the Everly Brothers.
@@RobGa66 oh wow, I definitely didn't know that!

You missed Red Sovine and Jim Seals.
Yes, I missed several that I didn't know was there. They didn't have them listed on the list I had...I'll definitely have to go back and do another video. Thanks for watching!
It sounds like you probably would've had more fun going to a museum to learn about Greek Mythology. This event looks pretty dead.
You're probably right
Visited the Ranch last month on our 26th Anniversary it was awesome and informative. Beautiful countryside around her Ranch and the Area, ate at the Loretta Lynn's country ketchen Restaurant and the log cabin restaurant! Good eating!
Absolutely a beautiful area around the ranch... thanks for watching!
Earl Scruggs wife was born on the day after my birthday. I'm 59, that's pretty cool. Wow
That's is cool
Kitty Wells is it was one of my favorite singers along with Loretta. Lynn, along with tell me why not along with George Jones? Along with Conway Twitty, along with many others of their time. I loved all of the singers up their era. They deserve to be recognized and honored for what they're coming in music history. Every single one of them deserved to be remembered
Absolutely! I've visited George Jones grave and Conway Twitty is on the list to visit. Thanks for watching!
You know this is my #1 video of yours. Wish you could have covered the parade too but I know you were busy Saturday. Did ya win the 5$mule. ?
Haha, I figured you would like this vlog even though no horses but got half horses. Saturday was a pretty day and would have liked to went then but had the reveal party. The drawing for the mule is in September. Idk why so far away but that's when it is.
