    Thank you for the videos. It's lovely to see your collection! I was wondering if you would be willing to answer a question: do you use the same potting media for offsets and seedlings (no or very fine roots)?

    Amazing capture as always,sorry for this dumb question 😅 after cutting the roots do you let them dry out then pot it? or just pot it and let it heal with the watered akadama.

    Awesome man...❤ new subscriber from pakistan 🇵🇰 But i have a newbie Q since i just start gardening like 6 months ago and haworthia's are ❤❤ Aren't u worried about fungus or rot on the part u just cut especially u water it right after cutting and Repotting...

  • @rennyshaworthia5745
    @rennyshaworthia57457 ай бұрын

    I get this comment/question a lot. No, I am not concerned about fungus or rot when I water newly cut roots. I worry more about the roots drying up and die if I let the plant dries. I find that this slows down the growth of my plants. Akadama is porous and absorbs only the right amount of water to keep the roots moist. It is also sterile. My mix has no organics, and I wash and clean the roots well before potting it up. I do not suggest this method if your soil contain organics.

    @@rennyshaworthia5745 thanks alot🙃 Akadama here in my country is quite expensive... So on a friends suggestion am using Pumice 1.5 part Charcoal 1 part Cinder washed 1.5 part And compost 1.5 part By far it show good results but i will definitely try to shift on akadama over time
