  Hiya....from one solo vanner KZreadr to another.... I'm very very new to going solo ..well with my pooch... Will you be doing park ups in laybys / pubs etc using the apps or going on camp sites ...I've only just tuned in so sorry if you've said anything about that ... I've done 2 solo on sites upto now and fell right on price wise and tagged on with mates the first trip... I'm preferring the sites when alone...my last trip they said absolutely loads of solo females used there site...I've not uploaded that one yet .... happy travels..I'll be subscribing to you 🎉

  Hello there! Nice to meet you, thank you for the message. It’s so nice getting messages from like minded people. I used to do quite a bit KZread when I done my crafty stuff but life’s changed a lot hence my camper video. I’m so glad you watched it as I’m very critical of my videos. So I just try and be myself. So on the video I was on Loch Lomond at a campsite. I just turned up and luckily they had 1 spot spare! My plan was to just pitch up somewhere with it being Scotland. But I was tired and wanted the safety and a loo 😁 so it was easier to pay £35 and hook my camper up. Same again when I got to Lochness. I will do the lay-by thing, maybe it would be nice to do that with a fellow camper. Would certainly feel safer. I will subscribe back of course 😁 Keep in touch. M x

Please share details about things like safety , what you would do if your camper had car issues as a woman alone … etc. One more question…. What kind is your camper ?

  Thank you for the lovely message. 1st message I’ve had on here in a long time 😁 So my camper is a Toyota Alphard. It’s 16years old. I had it imported from Japan and the converted into a camper here. I love it! I’ve got a power pack incase of battery issues, so I can jump it myself. I really should familiarise myself with the spare tyre and how to change it though. m x

  Anyone who has done this, what thickness of wadding do I need please 1oz, 2oz, 3oz, 4oz, 5oz, 6oz or 7oz? Thank you

  I'm really not sure what I used as it was a little while ago. I'd imagine you could double up on the wadding if you wanted it more padded out. I've a feeling it was maybe 3oz? M :-)

  Your pieces came out beautifully! Though you mentioned wanting to leave the matte look, wouldn’t it be advisable to apply a matte varnish to seal the pieces? What kind of mat do you have? The problem with the surface is that the clay can stick to it. Minnie is so cute and her eyes are adorable! Thank you!

  Thank you for your comment. It's been a little while since I made the Insect tags so Im not sure what matt I used. I left them unglazed because I just prefer the matt look and didnt feel like they needed protecting, and years later they look exactly the same. I do however use a super matt finish spray if Im selling them in my shop. People often mention Minnies eyes, they look so human. Michelle :-)
