Hello again my KISS paisons, great show as usual! Just wanted to say that when I heard Tom jokingly say - "I'm not racist I like Kool and The Gang!" it nearly destroyed me this morning. Laughed out loud and kept hitting rewind to laugh again. I know people who would say that for real and not think twice. That needs to be put on SIOL merch - although Kool may get The Gang after ya for use of the name! Keep it up Tom and Zeus and have a great kisstard summer! 💪🏼😝
I just saw "KISS Rock the Nation Live" KISS-produced show featuring Tommy Thayer on lead guitar. He is quite good. I was really wowed by Paul Stanley's singing, but I felt like reaching back in time and warning him that one cannot abuse one's vocal cords to that extent and not expect consequences. I even thought I saw Gene glance over at him, whether in admiration or concern, I do not know. But maybe Mr. Stanley was giving extra effort for the filmed event. His voice, by the latter half, was on fire.
I'll give credit where credit is due, when Tommy Thayer was the guitar player of 80s band Black N Blue, who would've thought that he would, later, be well known, world wide, as the lead guitar player of KISS!!!!!????
I agree that Spotify are scumbags that pay artists next to nothing. TIDAL is a way better streaming service that pays artists double what Spoitify pays.

Great episode as usual. You guys are spot on that although it was not a cookie cutter approach to a list, it was definitely a nerd who tried to prove deep cut knowledge. My biggest criticism is how do they leave out “forever” or “hide your heart”??? That would definitely be in my top 20 of nineties. But anyway love you guys! You make my Saturday mornings way better.

Also, there is a compilation called Kiss coverd in Scandinavia. That has some really cool covers. Emtombed doing God of thunder for example. It was only made in 12000 copies. So it's rare, but I got. It also got a cool version of Detroit rock city. I can recommend that if you can find it. Perhaps I could put it up if someone are interested?
Megadeth released their version of Strange ways on ther compilation Warchest. The solo is amazing on that one.
The guitar fills, solo and outro solo in Going blind is pretty cool compared to the original. In my opinion...
One of the most difficult things to do in life is to take a look inward and fundamentally change who you are. Tracii seems like he did just that. The only other rockstar who has done that is Ace "I'm 13 years sober" Frehley. I mean he so obviously has spent every hour of the last 13 years sober, he also stopped dating crazy women and doesn't have a new wife every 15 minutes. I wonder if Brainvoid from Three Flies can change himself as well.

Is it the position that turns you off or just talking politics in general? I mean, it's their show and you obviously can skip past it but I don't necessarily give a crap either way.

Laughable!!!!! Vinnie Vincent and Eric Carr would have easily fit in with KISS in 1974 !!!!???? Even Gene says you can’t deny the original chemistry….. Ace is largely responsible for the early guitar sound of KISS not Paul…….it’s been proven. Paul was the Voice, Gene was the face, and Ace was the sound of KISS …….Peter was the heart

Ace and Peter back together again. You think you want to see it but you don't. They played well together on Alive! but they're miles apart now. And a spoken word tour would require someone to interpret and keep things on track and most likely they would use Eddie Trunk. Seen it.
Rock on Boys this is a great review of a great album, different at times but great my favorite Extreme - Strutter , Lenny Kravitz - Deuce because done in bands style , Extreme Is brilliant Zeus their latest album is fantastic , Rock N Roll all night is my least favorite …Tom com on bro….pitty my band Frozen Tears wasn’t around then we could have put Com on and Love me on it 😂 love you guys

What a great interview! It was cool to hear Allison's story about Kiss in december 23. She is a powerful woman! The interview with Paul is awesome and you can see that they both are so relaxed..love that!

Allison🌹did a great interview with Paul. He wanted to talk. And she made him talk. What Paul said about his guitar was so open. And made him so likable❤️ He also said, surprisingly, there were times when he was too tough to himself and to others. Paul was great.
Allison drank the Purple Cool aid.. . Hopefully next week's episode is a review of the interview
