    I made my own templates for my bowls I refuse to pay 25. For these templates. Plus they are to small for my bowls, but I did enjoy your teaching how to use these because you speak clear and slow enough to follow

    This is such a great tutorial! I haven’t been so lucky with finding a step by step tutorial for the curvy log cabin trim tool though. As a beginner those step by step tutorials are the difference between making a beautiful successful block or wasting time and Money, being frustrated and upset because you just can’t get a a good block no matter how hard you try.

    WOW - The possibilities seem endless. Do you have some block patterns to share that use these shapes? It would be an interesting sampler quilt for sure.

    Does the mini version also have markings to cut these small sized shapes?

    It appears that the yellow triangles cut are from a 2" strip, and are 2" tall; and that the rectangles sewn together to make the 2 tone triangles are 3 1/2" (strip size) X either 2 3/4 OR 3" - could you please verify. The pattern is beautiful and I am considering making it only in scraps with an off white (or white) background. Thanks, in advance.

    Can the mini diamond ruler be used instead of the tiny one?

  • @cynthialeslein1786
    @cynthialeslein17862 ай бұрын

    I don't see where you got a response =( Early in the video Krista advises that the mini diamond CAN be used. Simply use the markings for the 3 1/2" which is noted on that ruler, when cutting your diamonds. You can also position it to may the hex portion of the center of the star - but move it side to side to line it up (since it is not exactly the 3 1/2", like the tiny ruler. Hope this helps.

    Is this a NEW ruler or a tutorial on one that’s already been out for a while? I’ll be purchasing it for sure if it’s just been released but I can not remember if it is the one that I have bought as Ive had a stroke and I’m having some memory issues. So sorry but I know I love my creative grids rulers!!! I’ve not forgotten that. ❤😊

    Best to you in your recovery. Creative Grids has a pdf that is printable of all their rulers and templates. My copy is a couple of years old, but I have written in the newest rulers as I purchase them. Having the list is very helpful. I wish CG would make a LARGE PRINT version. !!

    Is it possible you are seeing the larger sizes on the other sites and that is why the price seems higher? This is the TINY, there is also a MINI and a regular.
