  People are human and make mistakes. Hurt and wounds take time. Try to remember why you chose her as your life partner in the first place. Refocus your life vision together. Are you both on the same page and looking the same direction? There will be good times and bad times, that's life. It's unfortunate we focus more on the bad than the good. Maybe because it hurts so much. See if the good outweighs the bad...and I am guessing it does. When you find yourself focusing on the issue of what happened-get up and distract yourself with something else. That pain will always be there ..just lessen with time. Emotional pain is like a sore tooth...you keep biting on it to check if it hurts- it's going to hurt-so don't bite on that sore tooth too often or too long. Replace it with caring. Care for yourself and let yourself heal. Try to learn something new with your wife and create new memories- while you all work through healing together.

  It is not only her to consider, the kids are part of the package, you have to commit to them all. I have a partner in Cebu, 3 kids grown up, yet I said if we ever parted I will remain in the kids lives. Sometimes separation creates understanding of what you had, what you miss, don't be thinking what if in time to come. Hope it works for you both.

Things about going back to Bangkok for a visit but I just found out the cost of the visa is different from twenty years ago With the stupid new rules The Thai government came up with just terrible.

  Prices for visa services have really gone thru the roof. I was reading a few years ago on social media, people were paying 5000 bhat for initial O retirement visa; now 26K. I think I would try to negotiate the price! I have seen videos that show you how to do it without an agent; maybe hire a bar girl to help interpret for you? I agree getting the bank account is difficult but maybe some branches of Bangkok bank in Bangkok will help you if you ask directly for an accident insurance policy. Or just pay an agent for the bank account, then file the paperwork yourself. Save 26K bhat!
