The sample in Geogaddi is actually “I’m no satanist, but if I were, I’d be in this business too” It’s from some old TV show which also had the “in a beautiful place out in the country” sample in another of its episodes, being an interview with Amo Bishop Roden

Random weirdo comment that maybe you won't see or care about. I strongly feel that you need to talk to my brother. I've been watching your reviews and following your artistic journey for a few years. Obviously, I don't know you personally, but I have this immense feeling you two would click. I've mentioned your channel to him before though I don't believe he's seen your content. Perhaps it's a lofty idea thinking this comment would bear fruit. Not certain either of you have the time or interest in doing so. Every now and then I'll return to one of your videos or the art on your site. Without fail that same notion always comes to mind. I'm starring through a glass pane at a blurry image of something that could be. Maybe that potential has a finer shape on the other side? A passing thought I suppose. I hope you're well 🙂

I think the best vocals on Vespertine are in the song “Sun In My Mouth” which is based on an E.E. Cummings poem. One of my favorites of Björk’s works is “Vökuró” off of Medúlla, and even though I don’t understand Icelandic, it’s just very ethereal sounding.

@@thesoundbinge Your ranking looks almost identical to mine except I have SAW 2 in front of Drukqs. Have you gotten a chance to listen to the ICBYD anniversary edition's second disc with the 8 bsides? It felt magical hearing bsides to one of my favorite albums years later. They're not as good as the main album tracks, but it's so cool hearing the other work he was composing during that session.

The Campfire Headphase Album cover is fine. That’s the point. MHTRTC is more about family (nuclear? family) and more social. In contrast, the campfire headphase is more retrospective hence why there is one adult alone… it’s more matured and lonely while still being connected to something vastly greater and deeply psychedelic.

In an interview Richard said that the only reason DrukQs exists is because he had about 180 songs he made on an mp3 player, and he lost that mp3 player when he went on an airplane. He said that he figured the songs would leak onto the internet so he published some of them, and that’s why drukQs can feel very random at some points
